It is a professionally learned society serving more than 16,000 members in Malaysia, overseas, and the communities in, which they work. IEM is a society established to promote and advance the Science and Profession of Engineering and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas related to Engineering.

1. Impacting students in terms of knowledge, resources and connections.

3. Developing inter-IEM relations, universities relations.
