Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) was honoured to welcome a delegation of 25 representatives from the Islamic College of Melbourne (ICOM), led by Mr. Omar Lahham, Director of Faith and RTOC Manager, for a Day Trip Mobility Programme at USIM.
The visit commenced with a “USIM What?” session presented by Prof. Madya Dr. Sofia Hayati Yusoff, Director of USIM ‘Alamiyyah, providing insights into USIM’s vision, academic excellence, and global engagement initiatives. The delegation was also warmly welcomed through a special “SALAM” sharing session conducted by the International Student Association (INSAN).
A key highlight of the programme was the Letter of Intent (LOI) Signing Ceremony, marking a significant step towards fostering future academic collaboration and strengthening ties between both institutions.
The delegates also had the opportunity to explore the USIM Library, visit selected faculties, and capture memorable moments at the iconic Tuanku Canselor Hall.
USIM hopes that this visit will pave the way for meaningful partnerships, academic exchange opportunities, and stronger international cooperation between USIM and the Islamic College of Melbourne in the years ahead.
