Program “Talk To Us : Ibu Pejabat Polis Kota Kinabalu” bertempat di Dewan Serbaguna dengan penglibatan aktif para pelajar bersama pihak polis.

Program ini membuka ruang komunikasi dua hala melalui perkongsian ilmu serta sesi soal jawab yang membincangkan pelbagai isu semasa berkaitan keselamatan, kesedaran sivik dan peranan mahasiswa dalam masyarakat.

Sesi Penyerahan Sijil Pelantikan Angkatan Mahasiswa Anti Rasuah (AMAR) City University Malaysia (Sabah) bersama Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) Sabah bertempat di City University Malaysia (Sabah).

Penubuhan Kelab AMAR ini merupakan satu inisiatif penting dalam memperkukuh budaya integriti, amanah dan kesedaran antirasuah dalam kalangan mahasiswa serta warga kampus. Ia menjadi langkah proaktif dalam melahirkan generasi pemimpin masa depan yang beretika dan bebas daripada rasuah.

Sekalung penghargaan dan terima kasih diucapkan kepada SPRM Sabah atas kerjasama strategik dan sokongan berterusan dalam menjayakan program ini. Diharapkan kolaborasi ini akan terus diperkasakan demi membentuk masyarakat kampus yang berintegriti tinggi dan menolak rasuah sepenuhnya.

The academic visit programme under the SULAM Project was successfully carried out today with 10 students from City Academy (UTM) at Sabah Art Gallery.

Throughout the programme, students engaged in a series of meaningful activities, including analytical exploration of art exhibitions, appreciation of green architecture inspired by the Wakid basket design, and active participation in local art and cultural activities as part of an authentic learning experience.

We look forward to more impactful initiatives in the future that continue to nurture holistic, culturally aware, and socially responsible graduates. 🫶🏻

CityU’s Cultural and Arts Club was honoured to be invited to participate in the Perarakan Etnik held in conjunction with the Sambutan Ulang Tahun Kelahiran Rasmi Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah 2026.

A total of 20 students proudly represented the university in the parade, showcasing a diverse range of traditional Sabah ethnic attire that reflects the richness of the state’s cultural heritage and identity.

This participation underscores CityU’s continued commitment to promoting cultural appreciation, diversity, and unity, while providing students with meaningful opportunities to celebrate and preserve the unique traditions of Sabah.

The Community Service Programme under the SULAM Project was successfully implemented at Outward Bound School Sabah (OBS Sabah), Kinarut, with the participation of 10 students from City Academy (UTM).

This programme represents the final assessment component for the first phase and is designed to cultivate awareness, social responsibility, and a heightened sense of commitment towards community engagement and environmental sustainability among students.

The programme featured a series of structured activities, including the restoration of a herbal garden, landscape enhancement through the creative reuse of tyres, herb planting initiatives, as well as cleaning and maintenance works. Collectively, these activities provided valuable experiential learning opportunities while contributing positively to the local environment.

The University extends its sincere appreciation to all parties involved, particularly OBS Sabah, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), City University Malaysia (Sabah), the management team, and transportation support, for their invaluable cooperation and commitment in ensuring the successful ex*****on of this programme.

Seluruh warga City University Malaysia - Sabah dan City Academy merakamkan setinggi-tinggi tahniah kepada Malaim Bin Gumbina atas penganugerahan Darjah Kebesaran Bintang Setia Kinabalu sebagai tanda penghargaan terhadap jasa dan sumbangan beliau dalam bidang pendidikan.

Beliau yang kini merupakan Pengerusi Persatuan Pengetua Sekolah Menengah Bahagian Sandakan serta Pengetua SMK Libaran, telah menunjukkan komitmen yang tinggi dalam memimpin dan membangunkan kecemerlangan pendidikan khususnya di Bahagian Sandakan.

Pengiktirafan ini bukan sahaja membanggakan institusi dan komuniti pendidikan, malah menjadi simbol penghormatan kepada dedikasi berterusan dalam membentuk generasi masa depan yang cemerlang.
