CSR-SDG: Buy Malaysian Products Inspiration Programme in Collaboration with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Malaysia

On 16 May 2026, our students from Gerakan Pengguna Siswa (GPS) Club had the opportunity to participate in the Buy Malaysian Products Inspiration Programme held at SICC in collaboration with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Malaysia (KPDN).

The programme aimed to cultivate greater awareness among the public, particularly students, on the importance of supporting Malaysian-made products as a means of strengthening local industries and contributing towards sustainable economic growth in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through engaging activities and insightful sharing sessions, our students gained valuable exposure to responsible consumerism and the vital role consumers play in supporting local businesses and the nation's economy.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Malaysia for the meaningful collaboration and for providing our students with this enriching learning experience.

The CSR-SDG: Volunteer Programme in Collaboration with Persatuan Dapur Kita-Kita was once again successfully conducted on 8 May 2026.

This volunteer programme focused on assisting in the preparation of meals for the underprivileged, while also supporting Persatuan Dapur Kita-Kita in preparing 60 sponsored meal packs for the Almacrest International College programme, CSR-SDG: Responsible Youth Trainee Programme in collaboration with AGSC, held on the same day.

CSR: Career Launchpad Programme in Conjunction with Karnival Lindung Kerjaya PERKESO ✨

On 09th May 2026, our students together with AGSC students participated in the Career Launchpad Programme held in conjunction with Karnival Lindung Kerjaya PERKESO at Kinabatangan Hall 1, Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

The students joined the programme as volunteers and participants, gaining valuable exposure through various activities including job interviews, career pocket talks, as well as career and TVET exploration sessions.

The programme provided students with greater awareness and understanding on workplace safety, career preparedness, job security schemes, and the social protection support services offered by PERKESO. It also served as a meaningful platform for students to explore future career pathways and strengthen their employability readiness.

We would like to extend our appreciation to PERKESO and all parties involved for the opportunity and collaboration in making this CSR initiative a successful and impactful experience for our students.
