Assalamualaikum everyone!

Are you all aware about the existence of palm oil in our daily products? Palm oil is the most widely consumed vegetable oil in the world. On average, there are about 2.3 billion people around the world who are dependent on palm oil as part of their food supply. In fact, palm oil is in about half of our packaged foods.

Why
1. Palm oil is the world’s first certified sustainable vegetable oil.
2. Palm oil is produced in similar method like how olive oil is produced - by simple steaming and pressing.
3. Palm oil is naturally trans-fat free - hence why it is commonly used as a replacement for unhealthy trans fats.
4. Palm oil is the richest source to Vitamin E tocotrienols, which support brain and heart health. In simple word, palm oil is healthy!
5. Palm oil contains healthy fats, which may help you to lose weight as you end up consuming less calories.
6. Malaysia is one of the biggest producer of palm oils all over the world, and Malaysian palm oil is certified sustainable.

There are some health benefits of consuming palm oil; it helps in improving vision, helps in reducing the risk of cancer and is richly loaded with antioxidants.

EMSS supports the use of palm oil, and you should, too!

📢 NO MANUAL ADJUSTMENT PERIOD FOR KENMS COURSES 📢

Assalamu'alaikum wrt. wbt.

Dear KENMS students,

Please be informed that there will be no Manual Adjustment Period for KENMS courses starting Semester 3, 2017/2018, and this includes Semester 1, 2018/2019.

HOWEVER

Students who has problem with pre-registration exercise such as ;

1. Registered below the minimum credit hour i.e. 15 credit hours for ISFIN, BBA and BECS and 18 credit hours for BACC,

2. Students who have failed and must repeat the subjects in Semester 1, 2018/2019,

3. Have problems with the study plan (i.e not available),

✨ EID MUBARAK ✨

‎لَن يَنَالَ اللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ التَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

There does not reach Allah their flesh nor their blood, but to Him is acceptable the guarding (against evil) on your part; thus has He made them subservient to you, that you may magnify Allah because He has guided you aright; and give good news to those who do good (to others). (Al-Hajj: 37)

Few things can be learnt in this blissful Eid as of the story of Ibrahim A.S:
1️⃣Obey the order even though the understanding isn't yet fully achieved.
2️⃣Be patient when facing trials during performing the order.
3️⃣Allah will not burden you with something you can't handle.
4️⃣Allah knows your confusion, fear and sadness.

Please be informed that technical problem regarding online system has been rectified by ITD team. Alhamdulillah Online Streamlining System (OSS) can be accessed now.

Please take note that students who have applied for entering department through OSS earlier have to apply again latest by 27 August 2018 (Monday) as the earlier data has been cleaned by ITD.
