The LJMU South East Asia regional office serves students from the following countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam. Our friendly team look forward to answering your questions and advising you on everything from LJMU courses, visa applications to life in Liverpool. We are also very happy to keep in touch and meet with LJMU alumni t

o find out how you’ve been progressing since your studies at LJMU – you will always be an LJMU graduate! The regional office is also responsible for all LJMU collaborations in the region. We welcome discussions on collaborations including research, staff and student mobility as well as a variety of academic and commercial partnerships.

Alumni Engagement in Malaysia
Liverpool John Moores University is keen to strengthen links with our Alumni and to highlight developments in our research and education programmes. To this end, the University will be holding an alumni engagement event for our alumni in Malaysia this June 2016.

More than 1 in 10 men and 1 in 7 women: globally that's 640 million people now classed as obese. Dr Lynne Boddy from LJMU School of Sport and Exercise Sciences contributed to the study led by Imperial College London and involving the World Health Organization, 700 researchers around the world, and nearly 20 million adult subjects.

"This study highlights the epidemic of obesity that has emerged over the last 40 years."
