On the 12th of March, 2024, Lincoln University College (LUC) has ceremoniously solidified its commitment to excellence in pharmaceutical education through the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Health Lane Family Pharmacy. The MOU, formalized on this historic day, symbolizes the convergence of two esteemed familiesโ€”LUC and Health Lane. The memorandum was signed by Datoโ€™ (Amb) Dr. Mohd Yusoff A. Bakar, CEO, LUC, Malaysia on behalf of LUC and Health Lane Key Engagement Senior Pharmacist Ms.Choo Suit Won, while Faculty of Pharmacy lecturer Mr.Mohamad Nizam Bin Abdul Ghani and Health Lane Human Resource Manager Ms.Chooi Ee leng witnessed the signing.

An industrial visit was organized for the students of Faculty of Pharmacy, Lincoln University College toDUOPHARMA Biotech, Berhad โ€“ A Malaysia-based pharmaceutical company. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

During the visit, the students were also given a short safety briefing about key components regarding pharmaceutical industry and introduction to Halal Pharmaceuticals.The entire visit provided a good insight onto the pharmaceutical industry.
