An exciting industry-focused session on 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡 & 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙖 for our final year degree students on 17 April 2026.

In this 2-hour workshop, students learn how Git is used in real industry projects while discovering best practices for teamwork and code collaboration.

📚 Today, staff and students gathered at the Library Leisure Area for an illuminating sharing session titled “𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘼𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧 – 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠,” delivered by Prof. Dr. J. Joshua Thomas.

🎓 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙧𝙨: 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙭 𝙐𝙊𝙒 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙖 🎓

We were thrilled to host the bright minds from Chung Ling Private School right here at our UOW Malaysia Batu Kawan campus!

The atmosphere was buzzing with innovation as these students stepped into our high-tech labs to explore the Computing Technologies in the Internet of Things (IoT) Landscape. Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khoo Hee Kooi, the session was a deep dive into how smart connectivity is reshaping our world.

🚀 𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The IoT Blueprint: Students explored the background, tech stacks, and real-world applications of smart systems.

Brain Power: A quick-fire quiz to sharpen those technical insights.

Hands-on in the Lab: From briefing to setup, the students got a taste of university-level technical environments.

Developing the Future: The highlight? Watching students actually develop their own IoT applications right here on campus!

It was an absolute pleasure seeing such curiosity and talent in action. We hope this campus experience inspired everyone to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the digital age. 🌐💻

Computing Technologies in Internet of Things (IoT) Landscape ~ A special workshop conducted for Chung Ling Private High School today at our Batu Kawan campus.

This workshop was delivered by Assoc Prof Dr Khoo HK, with assistance from our Computing Club students.

The session showcased how Zebra is leading in Intelligent Operations, integrating data, automation and AI to transform frontline environments.
