AMU is proud to be part of an international research collaboration awarded a RMB100,000 research grant by Jilin Province, China, to advance biometric payment security within smart retail ecosystems.
The project, titled "Security Evaluation and Anti-Spoofing Framework for Palm-Based Biometric Payment Systems in Smart Retail Ecosystem", brings together researchers from Jilin International Studies University (JISU), Guangzhou Huashang College (GZHC), and Asia Metropolitan University (AMU), strengthening academic collaboration between China and Malaysia.
Led by Professor Dr. Song Dandan (JISU), the research team includes Professor Dr. Azizah Suliman and Associate Professor Dr. Syarizal Abdul Rahim from AMU, alongside fellow researchers from JISU, GZHC, and UNITEN.
