Pemikiran cetek dan sikap tidak ambil peduli adalah punca utama pembuangan sampah di merata tempat. Sikap ini adalah gambaran sikap penduduk terhadap persekitaran yang berpunca daripada amalan sikap dan pemikiran cetek yang bermula di rumah. Pembinaan masyarakat minda kelas pertama bermula di rumah bukan di sekolah dan kegagalan dan keruntuhan moral dalam masyarakat juga bermula di rumah bukan di sekolah. Masalah sampah adalah lanjutan daripada kegagalan pengurusan sisa domestik yang bermula di rumah.
