Your Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,
A HEARTFELT EXPRESSION OF GRATITUDE;
In a moment of profound appreciation, I, Comrade Oshim Tobias Nkwegu, alongside the Students Union Government, extend our deepest thanks to you, for the exceptional support and enrichment bestowed upon our university in your 1year in office.
Our gratitude for your significant contributions to our university community, including:
- The provision of a 100-Seater CNG Luxurious Bus for complimentary student transportation.
- The implementation of solar Security lighting to enhance campus safety.
- The landscaping and beautification efforts, adorning our university with elegance.
- The awarding of scholarships at local, national, and international levels to students from Ebonyi.
- The forthcoming campus-wide Wi-Fi Project, promising digital connectivity.
- The augmentation of university subvention, securing our institution's financial foundation.
- A 10% reduction in school fees for Ebonyi State University students.
- A 20% increase in salaries for academic staff and a 10% increase for non-academic staff.
- An enhancement of the monthly university subvention from N200 million to N280 million.
- The assurance of automatic employment for first-class graduates of EBSU, regardless of their state of origin.
- The renaming of Alex Ekwueme Teaching Hospital to Ebonyi State University Teaching Hospital, marking a significant milestone.
REMINDER‼️:
I also wish to take this opportunity to remind you of the highly anticipated campus Wi-Fi project. The Student Union Government (SUG) leadership of EBSU has been informed that the installation of free internet infrastructure and termination of access points have been completed.
PRAYER🙏🏾:
Your Excellency, I most humbly appeal for your intervention to fast-track the distribution of the already provided internet service to the far-reaching targeted end users for ease of academic learning and administration, especially within the student community.
This monumental support has answered our collective prayers, and we invoke God's blessings upon him.
Thank you Your Excellency as you will always get nothing but total commitment and solidarity to your government from the Ebonyi State University Student Union Government under my leadership. You have done well for us and the entire Ebonyian.
May God continue to bless our Governor and Ebonyi State University.
