*Peaceful Transition of Leadership at the National Association of Office Technology and Management Students (OTM), DS Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Ewekoro*

The National Association of Office Technology and Management Students (OTM), DS Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Ewekoro, Ogun State, today successfully conducted its general election and swearing-in ceremony for the new executive council.

The Election Committee, under the chairmanship of Comrade Adeyemi Samuel, screened and cleared all aspirants. The election, conducted indirectly, was peaceful as all candidates emerged unopposed, reflecting the spirit of unity and cooperation within the department.

Delivering his goodwill message, the Head of Department, Mr. A.O. Onabanjo, congratulated the new leaders and encouraged them to prioritize the progress and development of OTM in all their activities. He also extended warm congratulations to the immediate past President, Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare Solomon, on his recent appointment as Political Assistant to the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON.

The highlight of the event was the swearing-in ceremony conducted by Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare Solomon, who administered the oath of office to the new executive members. The newly inaugurated President, Comrade Adesanya Funmilayo Imisi-Oluwa, in her acceptance speech, promised to work diligently with her team to sustain the legacy of the association while fostering innovation, unity, and inclusiveness.

The outgoing President, Comrade Oloyede Olabisi, in her valedictory remarks, expressed gratitude to the department and the student body for their support during her tenure. She urged the incoming executives to embrace unity and collective responsibility for the continued growth of OTM.

In his charge, Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare Solomon encouraged the new leadership to ensure that the OTM Day Celebration remains a tradition, describing it as

Historic Election and Swearing-in of New Executive Members of the National Association of Office Technology and Management Students (OTM), DS Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Ewekoro, Ogun State

The National Association of Office Technology and Management Students (NAOTAMS), DS Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Ewekoro, today held its general election and swearing-in ceremony for the new executive council members.

The election was overseen by the Election Committee led by Comrade Adeyemi Samuel, who confirmed that all candidates were duly screened and cleared. Following due process, the election was conducted indirectly, with all aspirants emerging unopposed.

In his goodwill address, the Head of Department, Mr. A.O. Onabanjo, commended the smooth conduct of the election and charged the newly elected officers to carry the vision of OTM development at heart. He further extended hearty congratulations to the immediate past President, Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare Solomon, on his recent appointment as Political Assistant to the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON.

The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by the erstwhile President, Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare Solomon, who administered the oath of office on the newly elected executives. Thereafter, the newly inaugurated President, Comrade Adesanya Funmilayo Imisi-Oluwa, delivered her acceptance speech, pledging to work tirelessly with her team to uphold the legacy of OTM and foster progress.

In her farewell remark, the outgoing President, Comrade Oloyede Olabisi, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to have served, urging the incoming executives to embrace unity and teamwork in order to achieve greater success.

Also addressing the gathering, Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare Solomon admonished the new executives to ensure that the annual OTM Day remains a cardinal event, serving as a platform to promote progress, unity, and love within the association.

*NOTIFICATION OF PEACEFUL PROTEST*

Solidarity greeting to you all in the name of comradeship in struggle and scientific name of Aluta.

We write to inform all students and the public that the management has fail to address our demands despite all our efforts to resolve this issue and it has put burden, hardship and make the learning environment uncomfortable. On this note, the union Executives has agreed that the scheduled exam for Monday 15th, April 2024. Will be boycotted and will be a day a massive protest against all forms of extortion, oppression and intimidation. We're going to protest massively against all the Anti Student policies by the management.

This peaceful demonstration became pertinent considering the difficulties, hardship and the challenges the generality of students are facing due to the recent new anti student policies by the Rector. We have it on record that some of our student who fainted yesterday at the school premises while some injured due while staying on the que for over 5 hours struggling to get their exam pass due to the decision of changing of collection of exam pass from each school rather than printing it online which has been the easiest way.

As an ICT institution, we believe we need to live by example and proof to the world that we're technologies but reverse is the case. The nonchalant and careless attitude by the management towards addressing the issue to reduce, eradicate and abolish this policies.

It must be on record that the Union has appeal to the management since 2nd of April, 2024. Along side with other engagement, press statements and an ultimatum of 12 hours but all efforts to resolve this issues of round table proof abortive but quite unfortunate that the management are expecting the students to come and sit for the exam we didn't have time to prepare for?.

The Entire National Association Of Office Technology And Management Student, DS Adegbenro Chapter received the news of the Sudden death of our admissions Officers Mr J.O Adelege, with a rude shock and heavy heart but we believe that it's only God who giveth and taketh at the appointed time.

I commiserate with the School Management and his family on this sad loss of a caring and loving brother and father. It's evident that he lived an exemplary life Worth of emulation I want you to take solace in the fact that he left a good legacy of virtuous father.

The President of Naotams beseeched Almighty God to pleased with him soul and overlook his human mistakes and admit him into internal life.

May the Lord give his family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

Final Year Students Of OTM set Social Media on fire: Wear old Secondary School like dresses for FYB WEEK
The final Year Students of DS Adegbenro Polytechnic Of Office Technology Management (OTM) department,it's a great feeling of gradual surviving the lecturers axe and the rigorous academic drill on Tuesday August 8,the students both Male and female as part of their traditional final Year Bureau (FYB) converged at their department dressed in seemingly attractive multi coloured Skirts and trousers complimented by white long sleeve shirt.
This apparently brought back the memories of secondary school days and of course the feeling a triumph.
The President of the department Comrade Olanrewaju Damilare described the FYB moment as fun and a great feeling.
