Let's talk about this:
Zechariah 4:6: "So he said to me, 'This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: *'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.''.* Many teachings have been focused on this part of the scripture, hence many believers have succumb to what they perceive to be the reality of this scripture, "Trusting in God". It is important to know that none can do anything except he recieves the grace to, and yet it is by divine wisdom that one must understand and he himself is the author of his future and destiny. Deuteronomy 30:19 gives an insight into the vast privileges a human has over his life, actions and possible results (Newton's 3rd Law of Motion) ...but many times we mistake the power and the divine meaning of this scripture, we "Trust in God" and see ourselves "less". The scripture talks about what the spirit of God is capable of doing for men, even things men can not do for himself, and as a believer we submit to the confidence that the spirit of God is in God's word, and this word among us was made flesh -Jesus Christ. If John 7:38 says: "Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.", then by faith we are unified with this spirit and we two have become one (Mark 10:8:"And the two shall become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh."), the mystery of the bridegroom. Then we should have the confidence that we are this spirit and this spirit is us by faith, John 14:12 says: "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.". This operation can only be worked by the spirit referred in Zechariah 4:6, but Jesus here is saying we can do that, but only if we become that spirit through Mark 10:8. Finally, if we believe that a king reigns from his kingdom and that the kingdom of God is in the heavens where all His host and angels dwell with Him and Luke 17:21, goes ahead to say ..."Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.". Then ladies and gentlemen, I want you to be aware that you carry something divine through a mysterious proceedings, acceptance, belief and conviction, it is mysterious but true. How come you believe in that thing you carry but won't believe in yourself, the carrier? If a pregnant woman fails to take care of herself, she endangers the life in her, you need to believe in yourself for the word and works of God (which now we see dwells no where but inside us) in you to find expression... God's Xender is on and ready to send, it's your turn to switch yours on and receive... Believe in you.
