The President of NANS Comr. Pedro Chibuzo Obi was fully represented at the one day community sensitization workshop on fake news and misinformation for community leaders in Niger state particularly suleja.

This life changing program was organized by Glowing minds initiatives for human development in partnership with Bincike and was graciously attended by district heads, youth leaders, students and civil society organizations.

The program was organized to educate the community and the general public the danger that comes with fake news and misinformation with speakers of high repute sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience in that regards.

Fake news is like a diseases and it is even more destructive than boko haram.

At the end of the summit, I appended my signature on the commitment board to further avail myself in the cause to kick against fake news and misinformation in the society.

Thank you glowing mind initiatives ably led by Mr Shamsudeen Abdulrazak Gidado and thank you Mr president of NANS Pedro Chibuzo Obi for the honor to represent our noble organization.

Today I had the honor of representing the president of NANS H.E, Pedro Chibuzo Obi at the presidential Banquet hall Villa in a program organized by the Economic and financial crimes commission (Efcc)

The program which had the theme; Alternative to crime : optimizing cyber skills for national development, was an impacting program aimed at curtailing the rate of cyber crime in the country. The speakers also emphasized on the need for the youth to take up skills especially in the aspect of technology as it is the order of the day.

The program had in attendance the first lady of the federal republic of Nigerian, the chairman governor's Forum, the CAN president, the MD/CEO NITDA, Heads of security agencies amongst several other dignitaries

As Nigerian students leaders we are committed to representing the interest of Nigerian students in all ramifications and all times, We have the mandate to protect the interest of Nigerian students and we shall do that jealously.

So today I met with some Alumni of our great institution where we spent quality time together.

We had a robust discussion of mutual benefit both to the union, their company and the Students at large.

They're exceptional and monumental personalities with great ideas to empower students in collaboration with the students union.

We implore our dear prospects to keep supporting and praying for the union as the students interest is always our priority.

In the early hours of today been the 10th of Nov, 2022 the students union of the federal university of technology Minna paid a courtesy visit to the DG campaign of the PDP gubernatorial aspirant

Our discussion was centered around filling the vacuum where necessary in the aspect of the welfare of our dear students.

You'd agree with me that the off campus of gidan kwano campus have been suffering black out for the past four months due to the damage of transformer

It is on this note that we used the opportunity of the visit to seek the intervention of the gubernatorial aspirant through the DG to come to the aid of the students and the community by extension.

In his remarks he appreciated the visit and asked us to be hopeful as he'd do all he can to make our request a reality.

This meeting was facilitated by the then youngest house of assembly aspirant and at the same time a student of the federal university of technology Minna, Niger state in person of Hon. Abdulbashir Aliyu.

Today I spent quality time with one among the ancestors of FUT'MX SUG a former president, an astute, dogged and committed leader to the core

He's regarded as the leader of the modern day union because of his unique cm diplomatic approach to issues of concern which ordinarily some persons might see as a reason to cause violence.

Leader Abdulwaheed Musa is an outspoken personality that I learnt so much from the little time we had conversing.

He shared so much ideas that'd help us take the union to a greater height.

He appreciated me for the visit and pledges to support the union in ways that we think he can.

I also present my plan to have a retreat/reunion with both the past and present leaders of the union which he welcomed as an idea worth supporting to come to reality.

Thank you so much sir for creating time out of your busy schedule to meet with me.

I was in the entourage of the senate President of NANS Rt. Hon. Sen. Felix Attah Nnalue in a courtesy visit to the Federal road safety Commission where issues of national importance were presented before the commission especially in the area of the safety of Nigerian Students plying the road back to their various campus.

The commission pledge their support to the senate secretariat of NANS and also stated their interest in collaborating with the secretariat in the area of educating the students on the safety measures to be taken on the road.
