PA Julius Asefon was properly buried on Friday, June 28th, 2024.

Comr. (Amb) Kings Tamarapreye CNS joined well wishers to bid an icon farewell and to stand in solidarity with Comr Asefon Dayo GCNS ( SSA on Students Engagement to President Bola Tinubu GCFR).

NANS LAUDS NDDC, COMMENDS THE OFFICIAL COMMISSIONING OF THE 132KV TRANSMISSION LINE AND 132KV/33KV SUBSTATION IN OKITIPUPA LGA, ONDO STATE*

24 May, 2024.

The National Association of Nigerian Students NANS has lauded the NDDC for actualizing a project initiated In 2012 which has now reached completion in the dedicated efforts of the Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.

The project entailed the construction of a 45km double-circuit 33KV feeder line from Omotosho Power Station to Okitipupa, along with the establishment of two 30MVA, 132/33KV Injection Substations equipped with breakers, gantry, and substation automation. Additionally, a 3-bedroom semi-detached bungalow was built as service quarters.

In a press statement signed by the NANS National Secretary General Comr (Amb) Kings Tamarapreye CNS, the NANS Secretary noted and agreed that the project aims to complement the Federal Government's initiatives in the power sector by enhancing the power supply to Okitipupa, Igbokoda, and neighboring communities in Ondo South Senatorial District which will aid improved power supply and is expected to benefit small and medium-scale industries, spur job creation, and foster growth and development in Ondo State.

Furthermore, the NANS Secretary General Comr. (Amb) Kings Tamarapreye CNS appreciated the productive effort of Sir Victor Antai, Executive Director of Projects at the Niger Delta Development Commission.

The NANS Secretary General further highlighted the need for NDDC to ensure completion of all lingering and outstanding projects particularly in Institutions of learning across the region.

The NANS National Secretary General Comr (Amb) Kings Tamarapreye CNS, felicitates and congratulates Comr.Diplomate Ogomugo Marbo, President of the Niger Delta Youth Leadership Foundation on his recent appointment by the Amnesty Program Administrator Dr. Dennis Otuaro, as Head , Peace Building and Conflict Resolution/ Stakeholders Management Unit of the Presidential Amnesty Office.
