*TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST*

1 Samuel 30:8 KJV
And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

*MESSAGE*
Life on this side of eternity has its highs and lows. Sometimes our hopes are met; other times, we face the exact opposite. This doesn't mean God has forgotten you, trials are often part of the process for an overcomer!

Don’t concede defeat. God’s love and presence remain constant. Before you take your next step, seek His perspective. Following His lead brings divine direction, inner peace, and monumental victory.

Seeking to know God’s will and following His commands in every area of your life bring divine direction, inner peace, monumental victory, total recovery and deep satisfaction in life. On the other hand, any step outside God’s leads to frustration, confusion, failure and inner crisis which invariably results in external molestation and monumental defeat in life.

As you start this new day, remember: you weren't spared to be defeated! Rise up in faith and ask for His guidance. In obedience, you will not only overtake the enemy but recover everything that was stolen, in Jesus' name.

*Reflection:*
- _Like David, have you taken time to "inquire of the Lord" regarding your current challenges, or are you trying to solve them in your own strength?_

- _Do you truly believe that with God’s guidance, "total recovery" of what was lost is possible in this season?_

May the LORD God help you to always look up to Him with a steadfast hope and persistent spirit to recover all your lost grounds in Jesus' Name.

*THE MYSTERY OF GOD'S BLESSING*

Exodus 1:8-9,11-14 KJV
Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. [9] And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: [11] Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. [12] But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel. [13] And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: [14] And they made their lives bitter with hard bo***ge, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

*MESSAGE*
Afflictions, trials, tribulations and persecutions are no threats to the purpose and the covenant of God with His children. It is possible that the place where you have once enjoyed freedom and were happy to suddenly become a house of bitterness, bo***ge and the place of afflictions just because your best and most useful services have been forgotten.

In all of these, God may appear silent and unable to save you. Not really so, it only appears so. God is faithful and committed to His covenant. He cares for you still though your situations may suggest the contrary.

Never mind but continue to render your services as unto the Lord, and to please Him who is not unrighteous to forget your faithful labour and the love you have shown toward His name and whatever men are. Know this, no sight is more hateful to the wicked than the prosperity of the righteous.

Therefore, remain steadfast no matter the rigour because the darker the darkness becomes the brighter the light will shine. You are the light, don't be afraid of the darkness no matter its intensity but continue to shine. May the Lord help you never to give up too soon till He comes to vindicate you.
