Moments from the monthly meeting of Architecture Student Association-COOU Uli campus held on Friday, July 28, 2023

In line with the agenda sent to the WhatsApp group chat, here are some important points to note from our Tedtalk on the listed topics

1️⃣ REVIEW OF STUDENTS' INDIVIDUAL DESIGNS AND POSSIBLE REASONS FOR POOR RESULTS/OUTPUT FROM STUDENTS AND PROPOSED SOLUTIONS
• Lack of mentorship || Be willing to submit under the tutoring of a predecessor or a senior student in order to learn from them.

• Unwillingness to research and understand the design topic assigned to you || Be intentional with understanding your topic, making researches and asking questions where necessary. Avoid copying/pasting past students' works, instead, them and come up with a better solution

• Constant practice of what had been taught will be a advantage for you to get better.

• It's not enough to reach out to senior colleagues, be willing to learn and to take ✅💯

• Be humble enough to learn from anyone, even if he/she is your junior. (Swallow your pride boss)

• Learn to embrace

• Understand who you're champ!!! Be confident that you can apply the above listed strategies and excell.

• Most importantly, out God at the center of it all.

2️⃣ ENSURING 100% STUDENTS' GOOD HEALTH AND ACADEMIC WELLBEING
• Understand your schedule, the nature of the course, your body system and avoid overstressing it.❤️

• Endeavor to start your design (tasks) on time; it could be starting the panelling of your sheets, or cutting your tracing papers. Don't wait for others, don't wait for dine minutes, don't wait for deadlines, you fit no live to see the end.

• Embrace the culture of time management and scheduling of your activities using a functional timetable.

• Set flexible and achievable goals 🎯

• Learn to collaborate, embrace teamwork.

• Sleep and quality rest is good for your body. Them no born you born Architecture.
