ASP Bauchi State Chapter Commends INEC’s Transparency and Applauds the National Interim Leadership for Exemplary Stewardship

The Bauchi State Chapter of the Abundance Social Party (ASP), under the leadership of Hon. Muhammad Yahaya Abubakar, wishes to commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its steadfast commitment to transparency, due process, and inclusivity in the ongoing registration of political parties across the country.

We received with great delight the Commission’s update which included our association, the Abundance Social Party (ASP) among the eight (8) pre-qualified associations that successfully completed all required submissions in accordance with INEC’s regulations. This recognition is a monument to the discipline, organization and dedication of the ASP leadership and membership nationwide.

The Bauchi State Chapter applauds the ASP National Interim Leadership particularly the National Chairman whose unwavering diligence, visionary coordination, and adherence to democratic principles have guided the party through this milestone in the registration process. Their exemplary stewardship reflects the integrity, competence, and patriotism upon which the Abundance Social Party was founded.

We also wish to commend INEC and the Ag. Chairperson of the commission for maintaining a transparent, inclusive and credible registration process that strengthens public confidence in Nigeria’s democratic institutions. The Commission’s commitment to equity and accountability continues to serve as a beacon of hope for emerging political movements committed to genuine national development.

As we await the conclusion of the verification and assessment stages, the Bauchi State Chapter reaffirms its loyalty and total alignment with the vision and mission of the ASP to build a Nigeria where governance is people-centered, opportunities are equitably shared, and progress is driven by collective abundance.

We therefore call on all members and supporters of the Abundance Social Party across Bauchi State and beyond to remain united, focused, and dedicated in upholding the ideals of ASP. Together we shall continue to work towards a Nigeria where every citizen’s voice matters, and every community thrives.

Signed:
Hon. Muhammad Yahaya Abubakar
Chairman, Bauchi State.

Following the briefing held for 14 pre-qualified associations on Tuesday, 17th September 2025, the Commission opened its dedicated portal for the upload of required documents from Wednesday, 18th September to Friday, 18th October 2025 at midnight.

As of Saturday, 19th October 2025, eight (8) out of the fourteen (14) pre-qualified associations successfully completed the upload of all necessary information and documentation. The associations are:

1. All Democratic Alliance (ADA)
2. Citizens Democratic Alliance (CDA)
3. Abundance Social Party (ASP)
4. African Alliance Party (AAP)
5. Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA)
6. Green Future Party (GFP)
7. National Democratic Party (NDP)
8. Peoples Freedom Party (PFP)

The next step in the registration process is the detailed assessment and verification of the information and documents submitted by each association. This stage will ensure conformity with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), the Electoral Act 2022, and the Commission’s Regulations and Guidelines for Political Parties (2022).

The Commission wishes to reaffirm its commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and the deepening of Nigeria’s democratic culture.

FAQ

Why the Abundance Social Party May Be Nigeria’s Political Fresh Start?

As PDP and APC falter, a bold alternative is taking shape and Nigerians should pay attention. Nigeria is not short of resources, it is short of responsible leadership.

For over two decades, Nigeria’s political landscape has been dominated by two titans: the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC). Together, they have shaped the post-1999 democratic experience. But after decades of alternating power, what is Nigeria left with?

* An economy in distress
* Unrelenting insecurity
* Decayed public infrastructure
* Rampant corruption
* And a disillusioned, jobless youth population

It’s no longer just a question of change. It’s now a question of survival.

FAQ 2

IS ASP A NEW NAME OF AN EXISTING POLITICAL MOVEMENT?

The Abundance Social Party: More Than a New Name. The Abundance Social Party (ASP) is a new political movement making waves with a radical but resonant promise with a notion “abundance for all, not scarcity for the many."

Founded as a response to the elite capture of Nigerian politics, the ASP presents itself as a people powered alternative, committed to social equity, transparent governance, economic inclusion, and grassroots leadership.

In a country where political promises are often empty, the ASP's messaging cuts through like a breath of fresh air. We are not in to join the noise rather to end it.

FAQ 3

Why Nigerians Are Looking for a Way Out?

Let’s be clear: Nigerians are tired.

Tired of recycled politicians. Tired of empty manifestos. Tired of political parties that are indistinguishable beyond their logos and colours. From fuel queues in Lagos to banditry in Zamfara, the problems are national and the failures bipartisan.

The average Nigerian is not asking for miracles just jobs, security, basic infrastructure, and leaders who listen. That these remain out of reach in 2025 is a national embarrassment.
