"*THE PRINTING OF ORIGINAL RESULT SLIPS NOT YET ACTIVATED*
The printing of the 2026 UTME Original Result Slip has not yet been activated. Candidates are kindly urged to be patient as the Board has just concluded the foreign examinations and is also preparing to conduct the mop-up examination for candidates who were unable to sit for the main examination through no fault of theirs.
Candidates are reminded that the UTME is a ranking examination, and the Original Result Slip contains the ranking of candidates. Consequently, all necessary processes must be completed before the slips can be released.
As soon as the necessary adjustments are concluded, the printing portal will be activated. This will be done shortly, and candidates will be duly informed when to proceed with the printing of their result slips.
We sincerely apologise for the delay and appreciate your understanding."-

*PROF. EBOH VISITS ALIHAME, PROMISE A NEW DAWN FOR UNIDEL HOST COMMUNITY*

There was excitement, hope and renewed expectations in Alihame community on Friday, May 15th, 2026, as the Vice-Chancellor of University of Delta, Agbor, (UNIDEL) Prof. Eric Eboh, paid a historic courtesy visit to the institution’s immediate host community, pledging a stronger relationship built on development, inclusion and mutual progress.

The visit, which drew an impressive turnout of enthusiastic community members at the Alihame Town Hall, marked Prof. Eboh’s first official engagement with the closest primary host community since assuming office as Vice-Chancellor of the university.

At the meeting, leaders and members of Alihame community, passionately appealed to the university management to remember the host community in the areas of employment opportunities, security collaboration, award of contracts, admission of students, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Speaking during the engagement, the visibly excited community members stressed that as the primary host community of the institution, Alihame deserved inclusion in the developmental vision of the university.

Responding, the Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude for the warm reception accorded him and members of the new management team, declaring that his administration was determined to reposition the institution for greater heights.

Prof. Eboh said the visit was not only to formally introduce himself and his management team to the community, but also to lay the foundation for a productive and enduring partnership.

“My mission is to raise UNIDEL higher than what it used to be,” he declared.

The Vice-Chancellor further unveiled the human-centred philosophy behind his “RAISE Agenda,” emphasizing that the welfare and inclusion of stakeholders, including the host community, remained central to his administration.

According to him, “Alihame is a primary host community of UNIDEL. In my RAISE agenda for UNIDEL, the letter ‘E’ stands for environment conducive for staff, students and stakeholders, and this automatically includes Alihame.”

In a statement that drew applause from the gathering, Prof. Eboh assured the community that their requests had not fallen on deaf ears.
“You have given us many points to consider under your demands. You have given us a challenge, and by God’s grace our relationship with Alihame will be good. I promise that we will do what we could and leave what we couldn’t do,” he added.

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by top officials of the institution, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Ijeh; the Registrar, Dr. Mrs. Esther Akpojuvie; the Bursar, Dr. Sunny Ikeogwu; and the University Librarian, Dr. Mrs. Vera Okonoko, alongside other senior staff of the University.

The Alihame community delegation was led by Engr. Fred Nwaki, alongside community secretary, Aghagbon Fidelis, and Elder Goodluck Odafi, Head of Idumu Erion.

*NYSC SETS TONE FOR SERVICE: DELIVERS 2026 MOBILIZATION BRIEFING*

Prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members of the , Agbor (UNIDEL) have been brought face-to-face with the realities, rules, and responsibilities of national service.

In a comprehensive pre-mobilization briefing held at the institution’s 1000 Capacity Hall, the Deputy Director Corps Certification and Mobilization, South South Area Office, Asaba, Mrs. R.N. Eke delivered an in-depth exposition of the NYSC scheme, tracing its roots to the Nigerian Civil War, and reiterating its core mandate of fostering discipline and national unity among Nigerian youths.

She outlined critical eligibility conditions, stressing that graduates above the age of 30 at the point of graduation would not be mobilized but instead issued Certificates of Exemption.

With precision and urgency, Mrs. Eke directed all prospective corps members to complete their registration online, noting that all official communication from NYSC is conducted through individual dashboards.

She warned that even minor errors in personal data, particularly date of graduation, could trigger serious complications in the mobilization process.

Attention to details, she emphasized, extended beyond forms. Proper dressing for passport photographs is mandatory, as the images will appear on official certificates and remain part of the corps member’s long-term records.

She addressed special categories of corps members such as married women, physically or mentally challenged, HIV patients, pregnant women and nursing mothers. “Married women are advised to serve close to their husbands, but must provide valid proof of marriage."

She further stated that, "Corps members with medical conditions, including mental health disorders or HIV, may be posted closer to their families. Pregnant and nursing mothers are not permitted to stay in camp."

She urged students not to view teaching assignments with hesitation, reminding them that all corps members were required to actively participate in the Community Development Service (CDS), contributing to sectors such as road safety, environmental protection, drug awareness, health, and gender advocacy.

Reassuring concerns around safety, Mrs. Eke affirmed that NYSC would not deploy corps members to areas lacking adequate security.

She also issued a stern warning against paying for NYSC kits, while encouraging students to acquire practical skills during their service year to boost employability.

Earlier, the Deputy Director, led by the Dean, Students Advisory Services, Dr. Rufus Ijeh, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Eric Eboh, where she intimated the VC on her purpose in UNIDEL.
