2016 Launch Update

We would like to confirm that the GOMC 2016 will start in January and finish in June. We are currently working on improving online infrastructure of the Challenge as well as simplifying the crediting process.

Guidelines
The product focus of the Challenge will remain the same, therefore please refer to the currently available guidelines at http://goo.gl/rGlQth and learning resources at http://goo.gl/oPMrT to prepare your team(s).

Crediting
Each Team Captain will be required to provide only one email address to register, access team's dashboard and request access to AdWords competition account.

Available in more countries
The 2016 GOMC will be also available to Students and Professors at Higher Education Institutes in Hong Kong, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan and Ukraine.

AdWords Certification
Students and Professors will also get an opportunity to become AdWords certified. This will require to pass the AdWords Fundamentals exam and one of the other AdWords exams.

Interns at Google bring questions and build answers. We offer a range of internships across EMEA and durations and start dates vary according to a project and location. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and our recruitment team will determine where you fit best based on your resume.

Interns work with various Google teams such as the SMB Sales and Operations, Large Customer Sales, Google for Work, People Operations and Marketing.

Want to take part in a 3-day all-expenses-paid Google student program? Available to visit a Google office from the 2nd to the 4th of September 2015? Interested in non-technical career opportunities in the digital industry? Excited to develop your sales and digital marketing skills? This is your chance!

AdCamp 2015 will take place from the 2nd to 4th of September at Google's office in Dublin, Ireland and Wroclaw, Poland (participants will be allocated at Google's discretion).

The Google AdCamp Team are now accepting applications for the 2015 AdCamp (http://goo.gl/YSY24F) in EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa). Up to 45 current students will be selected from across Europe, Middle-East and Africa to participate in the 3-day programme at either Google Dublin or Google Wroclaw from the 2nd September - 4th of September 2014.

In order to apply, you must be a current student in Europe, Middle East or Africa and are set to graduate in 2016 or 2017. The link to apply is here (http://goo.gl/YSY24F). The application deadline is the 3rd of May 2015. All decisions will be communicated to applicants by the end of July 2015.

am officially welcoming you all back on campus. How was the break? I hope you had some fun and ate some Easter chicken. It is necessary.

Back to our business of impacting and inspiring students' lives, we would be spreading our tentacles to Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State to train students on the rudiments of Digital Marketing.

The event tagged Digital Marketing 101 would be holding on Friday, April 17th, 2015.

Main objectives of the event include:
To introduce JABU students to Digital Marketing.
To ensure attendees know the basics of Digital Marketing.
To get AdWords certified students from JABU.
10 members of the Google Students Club would be going with the Google Student Ambassadors and GSA Alumni to grace the event. Reply this mail if you are interested so that we can get the list of those that would be going for the event in JABU.
