Dear ISSOSANs.
Happy New Year to everybody in the House.
We are grateful to God for the grace to see a New Year 2023.
This Year, we will be looking at:

1.Building enabling environment for ISSOSA to create the intended impact in our alma mater through dialogue, advocacy, networking and value re-orientation to ensure a transformed lSSOSA that can compete with its peers in other locations.

2. Building a value driven ISSOSA that can stand beyond any single leader for sustainable development in our alma mater.

3 Strengthening the already existing relationships among members and provision of platforms to assist each other.

4. The following persons have been selected to meet with the chairman of Post Primary Education Board, Mrs Ekaette Ebong Okon to solicit for assistance for a perimeter fence in the school : The secretary shall coordinate the arrangements.

The National President, Mr Obot Obot shall be addressing the House in the early hours of tomorrow, 1st January 2023, as part of his *New Year Address*.

*Issosa General Update*

*Great Issosa, great!* ❤️❤️❤️

*I hope we are doing great….*

With the mandate of the *international President of Issosa, Comrade Obot Obot,* we are creating new modalities to help *promote and properly structure Issossa extended body- all sets.*

*First*, we are looking at how to reach *all the leaders/presidents/Sps/Representatives of all the sets.* Though some of them are already in this group, a list of all the leaders would be posted here for detailed information. Note that this list will be subject to corrections and update as I'm yet to ascertain the real leaders of the respective SETS. *Your input will be greatly appreciated…*

*Second, the original link of this WhatsApp group (Issosa Official WhatsApp group) shall be generated and posted on this group/ sent to all the leaders, for them to give us a duplicate of all their members.* That is to say, leaders of respective sets can link their members to the main Issosa body through the link without altering their original WhatsApp groups. Hence, this group will be subject to expansion as a single *WhatsApp can only accommodate 1024 contacts/people.*

*Third*, based on my research and findings, I've observed that we have so many scattered Facebook groups and pages that are not active… *On that note, we shall create a new page for all Issosa(old and new members).* Also, the link of this new page shall be generated and posted here for us to join directly/ sent to all the leaders for their fellow comrades to join.

*With Facebook, we can take this forum far. All Issosa sets/ forums would be advised to post their activities (celebration, reunion, birthdays, award nights etc)* on the new page. Those events must be decent so as not to endanger this page. This will help in self-advertising the page to other members by FACEBOOK…. Note that *Facebook as a social Media handle has a way of showing a post or message to people* who are related to us, either as friends or family/group members.

*Fourth*, there shall be online meetings on zoom/Google-meet from time-to-time to further harness and boost the activities of Issosa. But before such a meeting, proper advert/awareness shall be sent to all leaders and members for preparation….

*In addition, permit me to appreciate each and everyone of us for coming this far.* And also to appreciate the works and efforts of all our leaders/ members and those who contributed in one way or the other to help and push Issosa forward.

*Finally*, I try so much to count my words because I know that this group is made up of *elders, personalities and men of honour/ high ranks…* I am only a child before some of us… Therefore I want to say here that for Issosa to move forward and succeed greatly, we must cooperate, work tirelessly in our own capacity and contribute our very best…

*Teamwork and cooperation* will go a long way to helping this group/forum. From the words of the pastor who preached during the morning session and the guest speaker who taught on peace building and results mobilization on the 27th of December 2022, I think that through cooperation and common goal and *our eyes fixed on the vision and mission*, Issosa shall succeed.
