TRIBUTE TO LATE SALIHU ATTAHIRU ALIERO:
The darkest hour of the darkest night of our life, January 7th 202, my beloved father and mentor whom we always looked up to as the strongest and the wisest hero gasping for his next breath.
I little knew that morning that Allah was going to call your name, my world came crashing down and my heart shattered into pieces; I immediately felt the most agonizing pain, a pain would not wish on my worst enemy. My biggest fear in the world had materialized.
Most people knew Salihu Attahiru as God fearing, trustworthy, courageous, simple, supportive, down to earth and a friend to all; he was very hard-working, he always reminded us he worked so hard so that he could give his children all what they needed to excel in life; he had all he asked and even more. He had a heart of Gold, he expects excellence at all times.
Late Salihu Attahiru was generous, selfless, loyal and very humble. His intellect, sense of integrity, dedication to duty and honesty was immeasurable.
You were a dad who was so special and who was love very much and brought so many happiness to the many hearts you touched . You were always kind, caring, understanding and very helpful. You were a gift to all the world and brought joy to everyone in life we loved dearly, in death we do the same. It brokes our hearts to loose you, you didn't go alone for part of us went well with you. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide and though we can't see you, you're always at our heart.
In my calculations, if there's one lesson we all should learn from this don is that humility is among the greatest habit that can uplift the status of a man. His humility is angelic, so to say.
Thank you for the job you provide for me, thank you for your useful advice; thank you for the trust and confidence you bestowed on me during your life time and thank you for always treating me like your son whenever I paid you a visit or called you by phone.
I know you're in a better place. I pray to Allah to forgive all your sin and may you continue to sleep comfortably in your grave.
