*- 5 Pass Out With First Class*

Five students of Peacock College of Education Jalingo have graduated with first class degrees.

The five were among 323 students who graduated under a BA Education affiliated programme with Taraba State University (TSU).

The affiliation agreement between both institutions was signed in 2019 when Prof. Vincent Ado Tenebe was the Vice Chancellor of TSU, and got re-accreditated under the leadership of Prof Sunday Bako as Vice Chancellor.

In an exclusive interview with Taraba News, the Provost of Peacock College Of Education Jalingo, Mr. Bernard T. Tata, stated that the affiliation with the University would enable his students to be issued the same certificates from TSU after the completion of their undergraduate studies.

He disclosed that the school had put in place a high standard of learning and they were currently improving on their infrastructure to accommodate more students in the institution, he said this is the second set of students produced by the School thought the affiliation programme with the University.

Mr. Tata called on people interested in taking a degree in Education-related programme to seize the advantage of the current programme to realize their dream.

Taraba News gathered that The Senate of Taraba State University approved the results of the graduating students of Peacock College of Education Jalingo, where 5 students made 1st class honours, 108 2nd class Upper , 191 2nd class Lower and 19 with Third class.

Mr Tata thanked the entire TSU Senate and charged the graduands to be good ambassadors of the College in any place they found themselves.

Those that got first class includes Suleiman Amina from department of Islamic Religion Studies, Patient Genesis from the department of Guidance and Counseling, Mohammed Yakubu from the department of Business Education, Sakina Labaran from the department of Biology Education, and Mahmud Mohammed Bin from the department

A.A. Liman met with the NNPP's Executive/Candidates ahead of his campaign tour, charged them not to let anyone cause strife within the party's extremely peaceful family.

A.A. Liman, the New Nigeria People's Party Senatorial candidate for Taraba North, met with the party's State Executives and other candidates running for offices in the upcoming election and urged them to avoid those peddling deception and lies both within and outside the party, and to stay focused on ensuring that the NNPP won the election from top to bottom.

Speaking at the NNPP's gubernatorial campaign office, A.A. Liman describes the situation as risky and capable of undermining our victory in the upcoming election if our unity is compromised.

"Let me take this opportunity to thank the party's executives for organizing this important meeting and ensuring that the peace we enjoyed in the party is maintained. "To rebuild our state and region, we must adhere to our oath of neutrality and party loyalty, avoid bitterness, and maintain integrity."

"I'd like to appeal to everyone in this room to avoid bitterness and the transfer of aggression because one person's fight should not affect the other.
