During my 100 level in school, when I see people leaving the hostel to night class, I will start feeling like unserious student. And also, people started seeing me as unserious student

So I said to myself , I will join this night calls crew someday

That night, I finally decided to leave my hostel for night class . I packed my books, reading lamp and a big bag heading to night class

Omoh, when I arrived, what I saw shocked me . I saw people lying down , sleeping and snoring, some were pressing their phones, some were gisting

I said to myself "So na wetin people dey do for night class be this?

That was when I realized that not all those that go for night class actually go to read, some go to charge phone, sleep , and gist .

Some actually go so that they may give neighbours impression that they are serious

After seeing what people were doing, I located a seat, removed my phone and started charging, removed my books and started reading, few minutes later I closed the book and pressed phone. A few minutes later I slept off During night class, I came to read d turned to sleep contest. I was contesting with other people I saw.

I slept and snored till daybreak

When I arrived at my hostel the next morning, neighbors saw me and started hailing me "Scholar, Scholar, you don't browse book finish oo, your head dey hot o"

It was then I remembered a popular quote that says "You can deceive others but you cannot deceive yourself"
