TREE PLANTING CAMPAIGN — 700 TREES FOR A GREENER FUTURE
In line with the vision of promoting sustainable agriculture, climate smart practices, and environmental stewardship, our Faculty successfully embarked on a Tree Planting Campaign under the (Rural Urban Women Green Initiative) RUWGI initiative.
A total of 700 tree seedlings including shade trees, agroforestry species, and ornamental plants were planted across the faculty landscape to enhance biodiversity, carbon sequestration, soil fertility, microclimate regulation, and watershed protection.
This landmark program was honored by the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Bursar, Librarian, other distinguished University management officials, and our Faculty leadership team, who collectively demonstrated their commitment to greener campuses and sustainable ecosystems.
We deeply appreciate RUWGI for their invaluable sponsorship and the entire Faculty Management for their unwavering support, guidance, and active participation.
This impactful initiative was championed under the leadership of:
Comr. Muhammad Auwal Abdullahi Muhammad Darazo Former NAAS President.
Together, we nurture the land, conserve natural resources, and grow a greener future for generations to come. 🦅
