Dear graduates, distinguished faculty, proud families, honored guests, and friends:
Today, as a Provost, I stand before you with a heart full of pride and a profound sense of gratitude. Congratulations, Class of 2025! You have crossed the finish line of an extraordinary journey one marked by dedication, discovery, challenges and growth. In a world that has tested us all in ways we could never have imagined, you have not only endured but thrived. You are the architects of your own success, and today, we celebrate you. Today marks a pivotal moment not just in your academic journey, but in your transformation into healthcare professionals who will shape the future of human wellness and healing.
Let me take a moment to reflect on the path that brought you here. When you first arrived on this campus whether as wide-eyed freshmen, transfer students, or lifelong learners returning to pursue new dreams you entered a community dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. You navigated rigorous courses, late-night study sessions, and perhaps a few all-nighters fueled by coffee and determination. You engaged in debates that challenged your perspectives, collaborated on projects that ignited your creativity, and formed bonds that will last a lifetime. When you first walked through our doors, many of you carried dreams mixed with uncertainty. Today, you leave as competent, compassionate professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation to make a meaningful difference in countless lives. Take a moment. Breathe in this moment. This is a day etched in the annals of your personal histories, a milestone earned through dedication, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to a noble calling.
This very special occasion is a reflection of the college’s determination and dedication to produce graduates with cutting-edge, hand-on experience to bridge the gap of the healthcare professional across the local government, the state and the country in general. Moreover, these sets of graduates have undergone rigorous training for the duration of three (3) years from classrooms lectures, demonstrations, presentations, debate and clinical experiences which they all have passed it with extra-ordinary grades. After all the training and mentorship from our dedicated staffs, these students have proceeded to write their respective professional licence examinations.
Allow me to highlight your remarkable achievements of 2025 national examinations results summary:

Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) – an outstanding 82.9% success rate (CHPRBN).
Environmental Health Technology graduates – an excellent 90% success rate (WAHEB/EHORECON).
Pharmacy Technicians – (Pharmacists Council of Nigeria) waiting results.
Health Information Management (HIM) to write their council exams in months to come
These results are not numbers they are proof of your dedication, your resilience, and the tireless mentorship of our general staffs. They are proof that you are ready to serve with excellence.
To our graduates, the world you are entering is complex and ever-changing. It will demand creativity, dedication, and compassion. But I have no doubt that you are ready. You have been equipped with the tools to think critically, to solve problems, and to lead with integrity.
But your education extended far beyond the classroom. Many of you balanced part-time jobs, and extracurricular commitments. You volunteered in our communities, led student organizations, and advocated for causes close to your hearts. And let's not forget the unprecedented challenges you've faced: Through it all, you demonstrated resilience the kind that turns obstacles into opportunities.
As you prepare to step into the next chapter, I offer you a few words of wisdom drawn from my own experiences and the timeless lessons of this institution. First, embrace lifelong learning. The diploma you receive today is not an endpoint; it's a passport to a world of endless possibilities. The knowledge you've gained here is a foundation, but the true power lies in your curiosity and adaptability. In an era of artificial intelligence, climate innovation, and global interconnectedness, the most successful among you will be those who never stop asking questions and seeking answers.
Second, cultivate empathy and integrity. The world needs leaders who lead with compassion who understand that success is not measured solely by personal achievements but by the positive impact we have on others. Whether you're entering the workforce, pursuing advanced studies, or starting your own ventures, remember to lift others as you climb. Integrity will be your compass in moments of uncertainty; let it guide you to make choices that honor your values and contribute to the greater good.
Third, don't fear failure. In fact, welcome it as a teacher. Some of the greatest innovations and breakthroughs in history stemmed from setbacks. Your time here has equipped you with the tools to experiment, iterate, and persevere. So go forth boldly, take risks, and know that every stumble is a step toward something extraordinary.
To the families and friends who supported these graduates: thank you. Your encouragement, sacrifices, and unwavering belief have been the wind beneath their wings.
To the parents, guardians, and loved ones: This triumph is as much yours as it is theirs. You have been the unwavering pillars of support, the silent cheerleaders, the financial backbone, and the emotional anchors throughout this demanding journey. Your sacrifices, your encouragement, and your belief in their potential have been instrumental in bringing them to this momentous day. Today, as you witness their achievement, know that your love has built the foundation upon which their successes will now stand. Thank you for entrusting us with your precious children; we hope we have been worthy of that trust.
And to our dedicated Head of Departments and general staffs of our esteemed college: I extend heartfelt appreciation and admiration. Your tireless efforts, expertise and commitments to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professional have been truly remarkable.
