ANNOUNCEMENT OF FIRST SEMESTER 2016/2017 HOLIDAYS/RESUMPTION AND EXAMINATIONS

This is to inform all staff and students of Cross River University of Technology, as well as the general public, that the Senate at its meeting of Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 directed that the University should close for First Semester 2016/2017 holidays with effect from today 19/04/2017.
The break is to enable students who are owing school fees to source for and pay all their fees already due in order to be eligible to write the First Semester Examination for 2016/2017 Academic Session.
Consequently, all students should proceed on holidays as directed. Students in the Halls of Residence should vacate the halls immediately.
The University shall resume for the Second Semester on Friday, May 12, 2017 and Examinations shall commence on Monday, May 15, 2017.
All should note and comply with these directives, please.

RESUMPTION OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
This is to inform all students, staff, parents/guardians and the general public that, following the suspension of strike action by staff of Cross River University of Technology, academic activities for the first semester 2014/2015 academic session have resumed forthwith.
Accordingly, all students are expected to return to their respective campuses for immediate commencement of lectures as matriculation will follow almost immediately. Students are expected to pay up all new and outstanding fees.
Students in Calabar Campus are to note that hostel accommodation will be available in a fort-night due to ongoing renovation.
Management of the University welcomes you back and wishes you a hitch free semester.

This is to inform all new and returning students that the first semester of the 2013-2014 session will commence on Monday 24th of March, 2014. Students are expected to pay their school fees and do the necessary registration as academic activities will commence on Monday 31st March, 2014 for registered students.

Yesterday the supervising minister of education stated that the contending issues between ASUU and the FGN have been resolved. The signing of the MoU between both parties has prompted the indication that the ASUU six months long strike will finally come to an end hopefully for a forseeable long future.

Rising from the senate meeting yesterday, the management of CRUTECH has decided that re-open the school on the 9th of December, 2013 for academic activities. For further details check the notice on the Calabar Campus school gate. Will keep you abreast with any more information. Meanwhile, welcome back.

i see CRUTECH is up and going again. that is good but i want to still reiterate my stance to hand over this page to someone competent enough to keep CRUTECH students informed. CRUTECH is now my Alma Mata but their must be continuity.
