Adeleke University Alumni Excos Pay Courtesy Visit to Osun State Governor

On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the Adeleke University Alumni Association National Executive Council, led by the President, Pastor Alalade Olorunwa, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Osun State. Accompanying him were the Vice President, Mr. Ogunshakin Temitope, the Social/Welfare Director, Mr. Maruf Taiwo, and the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ayooluwa Adesanya.

During the visit, the Alumni body presented an Award of Excellence to the Governor in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the development of Osun State. In appreciation, the Governor reciprocated by gifting the Alumni Association a bag of gifts. In attendance were top Osun State Government officials, including the Deputy Governor, Secretary to the State Government, Head of Service, and Commissioner for Information.

Key Highlights of the Visit:
• The Alumni Association sought the Governor's support for the ongoing Alumni Lecture Theater project, which he gladly accepted to support.
• Discussions were also held on how the Adeleke University Alumni Association can contribute to Osun State’s educational system and actively support youth empowerment initiatives within the state.

This visit marks a significant step in strengthening the bond between the Alumni Association and the Osun State Government, fostering collaboration for the betterment of education and youth development.
