*WHAT IS NEXT AFTER JAMB POLICY MEETING⤵️⤵️⤵️.*

Now that the policy meeting has just been concluded, the admission processes for the year 2025 has started⤵️⤵️
* Institutions can now release their 2025 admission cut off mark this will enable the candidates to know if their JAMB score is enough for their choices of courses and institutions.
* Institutions can also release the Post UTME form simultaneously (together) with the school cut off mark.
* Admission begins soon.

*WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS AN ASPIRANT AFTER THE POLICY MEETING.*
As an aspirant seeking admission to a particular institution, adhere to these instructions ⤵️⤵️⤵️
* Join the institution's legit platform for updates and guide on their admission processes.
* The institution you prefer to seek admission must be your first choice.
* Wait for the institution you applied as first choice to release cut off before changing course or institution so that you will be sure. It will help you to avoid spending money to change it over and again.
* Olevel upload continues. Make sure you upload your olevel result in a JAMB accredited centre(avoid cyber cafe) with your thumprint or no admission for you.
* If you don't have your olevel result now, upload it immediately it's available.
* Upload your olevel result before your Institution's POST UTME registration ends.
* Endeavour to access your JAMB CAPS.
* Ask questions from a trusted person that is experienced and qualified.

The following are the benchmark score( JAMB MINIMUM CUT OFF MARK) for 2025 admission.⤵️⤵️⤵️

* 150 - Universities
* 140 - Colleges of nursing.
* 100 - Polytechnics
* 100 - Colleges of Education.

NOTE: Institutions can peg their tolerable cut off mark for admission above the benchmark scores listed above but not below it.

* JAMB declare that minimum age limit for admission to Tertiary institutions is 16. No admission for candidates below 16 years.

* JAMB declares that all acceptance of admission offers will be done through the sms short code to "55019" or "66019".

* MY PROFILE : This menu enables the candidate to access their bio-data such as: NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, GENDER, STATE OF ORIGIN and JAMB SCORE when it's released.

* MY CHOICES OF INSTITUTION: Just as it sounds enables you access to view your choices of institution and courses just exactly as it was selected during registration or during change of course/institution.

* REGULAR ADMISSION STATUS: This option enables the candidate to monitor and know their date during admission. Example:
* (a)NOT ADMITTED- If you see the phrase "NOT ADMITTED" under the "Admission Status" on your CAPS it means things like: (i) Admission has not started in your first choice of institution.(ii) admission into your aspiring course have not started (ii) you were not considered for admission by your school at that time. You may or may still not been considered for admission till admission is over.
* (b)ADMISSION IN PROGRESS, CHECK BACK LATER :- when you see "Admission in progress,check back later" under "Admission status" on your JAMB CAPS it means you are among the aspirants being enlisted for admission, your admission is 70% assured.
* (c) CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION-once you see "Congratulations,you have been offered...." under "Admission status" on your JAMB CAPS it means your Admission is 100% done. You can now accept your admission below it.

* MY OLEVEL: When you click on "My O level" Tab on your JAMB CAPS and you see "NO O LEVEL UPLOADED" it means your o level is yet to be uploaded on JAMB CAPS and it's not on JAMB database. NO ADMISSION WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU. SO GO AND UPLOAD YOUR RESULT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Any properly uploaded olevel result will appear in JAMB CAPS WITH: YOUR REG NUMBER, SUBJECTS, GRADES, EXAM YEAR AND THE OLEVEL EXAM NUMBER PROPERLY DISPLAYING.

* TRANSFER APPROVAL: This option enables you to realise when you have been transferred to another course rather than that which you choose at initial. You have option to accept the new course or reject it. NOTE: Not all institution transfers their aspirants - they either they consider you to your dream course or you are not considered at all.
