It was a thunderous welcome for the chief Engineer of the Proposed Stars University Engr. Mohammeed Sharouff who had been away from the country based on health challenges.

Master as he is fondly referred to arrived the airport early yesterday to meet with his team of engineers who had missed him among whom was his son Maleek Sharouff who immediately assumed the role of chief engineer following his father's absence. Mohammed who hails from Lebanon explained that he had never felt so much love, and although he had been in Nigeria for a long long time he was fortunate to be among the Idumuje-Ugboko people who loved him. He was treated to a ceremonious gunshot welcome party, one he described was only for generals in the Lebanese army.

"With the love I have seen today, am more than committed to ensuring that the Stars University Project undertaking by Prince Ned Nwoko my very good friend and boss is finished in record time, we had fixed September of this month to finish but the pandemic and the lockdown associated with it reduced our productivity. My team and I would work round the clock to ensure its complete before the next school year begins" he said.

Other members of the team thanked God for sparing the life of the engineer adding that he was part of the Idumuje-Ugboko Community and they were happy to have him home to continue the good work he had started. Among the engineering team present was Gbaeren Victor Terer, Katugh Matthew, Iloh Nelson Emeka, Ugwu Emmanuel C. Not forgetting the youths if the community. Maleek while addressing all present disclosed "I have never seen anyone so passionate about what he does than I have seen my father, throughout the period he lost his voice, he would always send messages via WhatsApp to ask about the workers and how the work was progressing. It was sad not hearing from him and with the health workers each day telling us that a man such as his could die from complications arising to the outbreak of the Corona virus, I cant but say thank you to everyone for their prayers and to Allah for keeping him for us"

Engr. Sharouff returned to Delta State after a compulsory two weeks quarantine following his recovery from surgery to correct an infection in his wind pipe. The stars University when completed would be the First Sports University in the whole of Sub-Saharan Africa, it would be saddled with the responsibility of training young talents in the sports sector as they combine conventional education with their love for sports.
