All members of the College Community and the general public are informed and invited to the 3rd National Conference organized by the School of Vocational and Technical Education (SVTE) . The Conference which has as theme “Issues, Challenges And Prospect Of Technical Vocational Education And Training (TVET) In Revamping Depressed Economy in Nigeria”, will hold from Monday 13th – Thursday 16th November, 2017 at the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall, AOCOED.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or GCE O’level result with at least credit passes in three (3) relevant subjects at not more than two sittings or relevant results for matured candidates for Certificate Courses.
• 4 credits in relevant subjects including English Language from WASSCE, NECO, NABTEB, GCE or Teacher’s Grade II Certificate for Diploma Courses.
• Certificate in any area relating to the field of study such as Certificate from Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (LSPSSDC).

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application forms for this programme are obtainable on the payment of the sum of Two Thousand Naira ( #2000.00) only into FIRST BANK Acct. No. 2022405016, addressed to Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto/ Ijanikin. On presentation of the teller to the Bursary Department, official receipt will be issued which would be presented to the Director, Centre for Extra-mural Studies & Community Education’s Office, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto/ Ijanikin (ICT-COMPLEX).

PROF. SAMUEL HONOURED WITH FELLOW OF THE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT (IMC)


The Chairman Governing Council of the College, Prof. Tunde Samuel was recently honoured. He was honoured with the Fellowship of the lnstitute of Management Consultant (IMC), a body of Professional Management Consultant that promotes and regulates the standard and practice of Management Consulting in Nigeria. IMC is also an affiliate of the United Nations

The lnstitute of Management Consultants is the body of Professional Management Consultants approved and registered by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Its membership is made up of individuals, consulting firms and organizations who share responsibility or are potential beneficiaries of improved standards in consulting practice.

By this award, Prof. Samuel is now a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) with a Fellowship Certificate and a practicing license. The award also confer on him, the status of an expert that may be invited by the World Body to deliver lecture on topical issues.

Born on 17th of November, 1948, Prof. Samuel is an accomplished Professor of Educational Management (one of the twenty Professor of Economics of Education in Africa), a former Special Adviser on Education in Lagos State and the pioneer Provost of Lagos State College of Primary Education, NoforijaEpe, Lagos State (now Michael Otedola College of Primary Education.

Recognized nationally and internationally as a foremost expert in Educational Management and a renowned teacher of teachers who has produced large numbers of Ph.D holders and Professors, Prof. Tunde Samuel is an award winning scholar.

He has consulted for the Lagos State Government, the Federal Government, UNICEF, World Bank etc. He is a member of the Governor Advisory Council for Lagos State and a Lagos State delegate to the 2014 National Conference.

It was worth mentioning that Prof. Samuel is the year 2016 winner of the Africa Prize for Leadership Excellence in Education. The entire members of the College Community felicitate with Prof. Samuel on this landmark achievement.
