Ekiti State: The Land of Honor and Integrity
Located in the southwestern region of Nigeria, Ekiti State is one of the 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Created in 1996 from the old Ondo State, Ekiti is known for its rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural scenery, and proud history.

*Geography and Climate*
Ekiti State is situated in the tropical rainforest region, with a total land area of approximately 6,353 square kilometers. The state shares borders with Kwara State to the north, Kogi State to the northeast, Ondo State to the south and west, and Osun State to the southwest. Ekiti's terrain is characterized by rolling hills, valleys, and vast plains, with the Ekiti Hills forming a prominent feature.

*History and Culture*
Ekiti State has a long and storied history, dating back to the ancient Oyo Empire. The Ekiti people are a subgroup of the Yoruba ethnic group, known for their bravery, resilience, and strong sense of community. The state is home to numerous historical sites, including the Ekiti Parapo War Museum and the Ikogosi Warm Springs.

*Economy and Infrastructure*
Ekiti State is primarily an agricultural state, with major crops including cocoa, kola nuts, and timber. The state is also rich in mineral resources, including granite, limestone, and marble. In recent years, Ekiti has witnessed significant investments in infrastructure development, including road construction, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.

*Education and Tourism*
Ekiti State is home to several institutions of higher learning, including:

FESSU meets with the Commissioner for Wealth Creation and employment.
To ensure a progressive continuity from the Union, the Outgoing President, Sen. Comr Ogundipe Temitope (Aristotle) led some FESSU stakeholders including the elected President 2025/2026 session (Comrade Saheed Ayomide), Senate President (Sen. Jinadu Basit), the General Secretary, Oluwadare Funbi and Financial Secretary David Beloved 2024 executive in a meeting with the Hon Commissioner Otunba Kayode Fasae.

1. Introducing the newly elected executives and stakeholders
2. Ensuring Cordial relationship between FESSU BOUESTI and the Ministry of Wealth and employment in Ekiti State
3. Deriving useful information from the ministry to the students.


As one of our responsibilities in adhering to the concerns of Ekiti Students, students are hereby advised to liaise with FESSU BOUESTI to show their area of concerns and needs as it will be definitely met by the association !!!

8. Creating an Avenue for the next administration by bringing investors who are readily available to develop the people and skill them on technology and how they can be financially standard through it
9. Creating offices for neutral people of Ekiti to partake in government.
10. Providing 3 slots automatic for my members in belonging to a union outside school in which they can engage and continue their political career through that.
11. Engaging my people with the Sen. Sen Yemi Adaramodu in an engagement in which the people will be directly asking questions of what he has done and what we wants him to do for us.
12. Processing of over 80 students for this year bursary/scholarship hereby increasing the number of students that will collect compared to the numbers of students that have been collecting.
My people is of no doubt that God is helping us and I do hope and wants the next administration to look into this and continue from here.
1. The next administration must look into technology look for a business opportunity that the people cam engage and led to their finance.
2. The next administration should also increase their cordial relationship with students union body which I have always done
3. The goals of the people must always be your concern

PRESIDENTS’ SPEECH 2024 FESSU DAY CELEBRATION
To God Almighty, my first appreciation goes to God the beginning and the End, thanks to Him for his support and guidance throughout my administration. My Second Appreciation also goes to my people, my executives who stands in my defense in some areas. In the Same Vein, I appreciate the Senate Senatorial Council for their zealous actions towards the growth and development of this noble association.
I cannot but thank our Staff Advisers,
High Chief Akinlade, Mr. Olokesusi for their advise, guidance and works throughout the administration.
My special appreciation goes to Mrs. Adeoluwa (Matron) and Hon. Comm Otunba Fasae (Patron) for their impact in this just concluded FESSU DAY 2024, I say a very big thanks.
Further appreciation also goes to FESSU assistants those that are assisting me with all my duties and to my personal staff adviser Mr. Akeem I say a very big thank you for your works and actions Sir.
Despite all circumstances was able to achieve this during my tenure as the president 2024.
1. Restructuring and reshaping FESSU from its old form to its new form.
2. Including my members in the first congress which include the digitalization of this year bursary.
3. Partaking in international conferences and meetings making our association to be more familiar with the international board.
4. Giving our association a pride worthwhile among the National Body.
5. Renovation of the Entire FESSU building
6. Creating an atmosphere for people to learn a lot of skills acquisitions like, graphics designing, web development and lots of online business in which the training took two months online ;(between the period of August to October)
7. Partnering with an international program ‘CoinEx’ in which people are being trained how to exchange crypto currency and become professionals.

FESSU Bouesti Chapter at the first congress in FUOYE in line with the constitution of the Federation of Ekiti State Students Union whereby various complaints of the people are being heard among all was the discussion for electricity among various tertiary institutions in Ekiti.
2. The implementation of Bulsary to be digitalized instead of the manual techniques that is used in collection of bulsary. The digital means will enable everyone to participate in it hereby preventing late or unknown submission
