LASUSTECH JOINS THE GLOBAL ELITE: HISTORIC MOU SIGNED WITH SGH WARSAW SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS

LASUSTECH has taken a significant step onto the international stage. Our university has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SGH Warsaw School of Economics, one of Europe’s most prestigious business schools. This partnership creates exciting new opportunities for our students, scholars, and the entire LASUSTECH community.

The agreement was signed on Monday, 11 May 2026, at the SGH campus in Warsaw. Vice Chancellor Professor Olumuyiwa Odusanya signed on behalf of LASUSTECH, while SGH Rector Professor Piotr Wachowiak signed for the Polish institution. The delegation, which included Professor Olumuyiwa Olamade, Dean of the College of Applied Social Sciences, and Dr Ayo Eso, used the working visit to establish clear implementation plans.

This partnership grants LASUSTECH access to SGH’s Triple Crown accreditation standards and elite global networks. It enables student exchanges with credit transfer, faculty exchanges, joint research in areas such as financial inclusion and the digital economy, and access to extensive library resources. The visit also opened possibilities with the Polish funding agency and the CIC Innovation Hub.

The collaboration aligns fully with the Vice Chancellor’s IMPACT model and Lagos State’s THEME+ agenda. It strengthens curriculum development, faculty growth, and student mobility while connecting LASUSTECH to European research funding opportunities including Horizon Europe programmes.

We continue to build a university that contributes meaningfully to global academic conversations. This MOU marks another concrete milestone in our internationalisation journey.
