Political scam
Jagaban sent u to scam the igbos in Lagos state.

TINUBU WILL COMPLETE 8 YEARS FROM 2023 AS PRESIDENT BEFORE IGBOS CAN GET A CHANCE - JUDE CHUKWUEMEKA IDIMOGU, Lagos House.

Hon. Jude Chukwuemeka Idimogu, representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly in this interview with Daily Independent, advised the people of the South East to align with the All Progressives Congress (APC), which according to him is capable of giving them the Presidency . Excerpts:

You have just been announced by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the apex leader of the Ndigbos during a meeting with the lawmakers recently, what led to this?

To God be the glory, I always believe that one with God is majority. All the members of the Lagos State House of Assembly had a meeting with Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on Sunday 19th of July, 2020 and after that, we had a dinner. It was during this session that I spoke to the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa to take me to the Governor. When we met the Governor, he said that he was aware of my new position as the Apex Leader of the Igbos in the state and the Governor told his Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde that henceforth, he should attend to me on anything that has to do with Igbos in the state. I never thought it could happen. I want to assure my people and all the Igbos in Lagos State that it is time for us to support the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Lagos State has been the second home of all the Igbos that are here. Lagos is the Japan of the Igbos; it is the America of the Igbos. Lagos State can be termed as the home of the Igbos in the Diaspora. Lagos State has been very homely. The Aworis who are the owners of Lagos State have been kind to the Igbos. There is no Igbo man or woman that can say he or she has not been at home in Lagos State and we are doing very well. That is why you see them thriving in their businesses. That is why Lagos is a unique state compared to other states in Nigeria. Lagos is the Centre of Excellence and it has been favourable, not only to the Igbos, but to the people of other tribes, even to non-Yorubas as well.

Igbos are many in Lagos State, they have invested in Lagos State. The investments of the Igbos in Lagos State alone is more than what they have in the five states in the eastern part of Nigeria put together. I always say that Igbo people talk about the unity of Nigeria more than others. Wherever they go, they establish their tentacles, they don’t care whether the place belongs to them or not. They invest their money and build structures there. That kind of people will never want anything that can affect their properties in such places. So, when you talk about the unity of this country, it is Ibo man.

In practical terms how do you want to ensure that the Igbos support the progressives in Lagos State because they usually support the conservatives?

We have started already; the train has left the station. We have been visiting all the local governments in Lagos State to tell the Igbos that things have changed. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is not our father’s party. There is no similarity of letter in Igbo and the PDP. So, the PDP is just an old platform for the Igbos, APC is the new platform, it is now a national party.

Today, APC is the party that is ruling in Nigeria and they rule in Lagos State. Instead of us to protest that we are being marginalised, thank God, the word marginalised is no longer being mentioned, I don’t know what happened. If you say somebody marginalises you, do you marginalise yourself ? Today, it is my joy that by the grace of God, He has put me in a little higher level in Lagos State politically. It is my duty to go round and tell them what we will gain a lot, when we are fully involved in politics. A typical Igbo man is a businessman; they are not concerned about the government. Unlike Hausa men who carry their radio all about and listen to news, an Igbo mam is busy with his business trying to make money. That is why you see them everywhere in terms of business, trading everyday.

An Igbo man goes out in the morning and comes back late in the night, it is my job to meet them in their workplaces that they should create time for politics and that this is the benefit they would get from politics. I am not saying you should leave your business, but you don’t say politics doesn’t concern you and when they make policies that negate your business, you start crying.

So you must make room to know what politics is all about and you must make room to influence those that are making policies that concern what you are doing. One policy can kill your business if you are not interested. It is high time they came out. I am not saying that all of them should contest elections, but you can influence political activities.

We must now look at where we are, we are in Lagos State, let us look at the party that is controlling government in the state, it is APC. If we are even looking at a party that can give Igbos chance at the presidency, it is the APC. The PDP has done it before for former president Goodluck Jonathan, but he is not an Igbo man he is a minority from the South South. We are looking forward that this great party, APC, can offer Igbos an opportunity for the presidency after our National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu might have gone there and spend eight years.

If you look at it, the South West is more prepared for the presidency in 2023 and we are believing that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has a better chance. We are still waiting for him to declare his intention and we are trying to prepare the ground for him and we are willing to support him. By the time he is through, he would look at how he could support the South East. The people of the South East should know that positions are not just given, they must struggle for it, we are not struggling enough.

Also, South East should know that they must work in tandem with other tribes, they must collaborate and that is the only way they can get it. Either they work with the South West or the North. If politics is a game, we must work with other tribes, we cannot achieve it alone and only APC, I believe can give us that opportunity. Lagos State would continue to belong to the APC or whatever name Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu gives the party he belongs because the state would continue to be under him. The leaders of the Yorubas in this state would continue to control the state.

The Igbos should fall in line with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC in Lagos State and it shall be better for all of us. Once you support the party, you will get something.

There was this allegation that some Igbos were not allowed to vote in Okota area in Isolo in the last election, what can be done to avert this in the future?

That is why I am appealing to my people to support the government in power in the state, which is the APC. But somebody that is busy with his market everyday might not understand that. It is my duty to go to them and explain to them. I am privileged and I have to tell them.

Mtn came to Nigeria at a time when nobody wanted to invest in Nigeria, at a time when Nigerians did not have phones.

Even Zenith Bank refused to loan MTN cash to operate, UBA rejected MTN's offer but today see the
difference.

What about Cowbell?

When they came to Nigeria, they made milk in a sachet, Peak was laughing at them - they said Cowbell was milk for the poor - but
they were right!

3-million poor people could afford N10 a day for a sachet of milk.

Do the math - 3 million people buying milk at N10.00- that was N30million every single day.

In a month they grossed N900million (almost N1billion).

Even Peak had to make sachet milk in order to survive in the market.

So what have people told you?

What have they said you cannot do, or you do not qualify for, or you do not have experience for?

They told Cowbell, they told MTN, but today the story has changed.

I have a feeling something is changing for you today!

They will change their strategies just to keep in step with you.

Don't listen to what people are saying or what life is showing you.

YES, YOU CAN.

Success is not about where you graduated from, or what grade you graduated with, but what graduates
out of you.

Keep the spirit UP..

INSPIRED.

Think of it everyday

*THE HEAD DOCTOR*

In England in 1920 there was a graduation ceremony for a batch of new doctors.
It was attended by the British Prime Minister of that time.

During the ceremony, the head doctor who was in charge of that batch, gave the necessary advice to these new graduates.

He told them the following incident which happened with him sometimes back:
"It was after midnight, and I heard a knock on my door.

It was an old lady, and she said to me: 'O my doctor, my child is sick and in a very serious condition, so please do something to save him.

I rushed out to follow her to her house without worrying what will happen.
Because it was a stormy night, and very cold. The rain was pouring down very heavily. I did not fear for my life.

Her house was on the outskirts of London, and after a difficult journey, we reached her house.
She lived in a small room with her son.
When I entered the room, I saw her son at the corner of this room groaning and deeply in pain.

After I did my duty towards the sick child, the mother gave me a small bag with money.
I refused to take this bag and I told her gently that I can't accept that payment, because I felt sorry for their situation.

Then I promised her that I will take care of her child until he gets better."

The head doctor continued in his speech by saying: "This is the true profession of medicine, and being a doctor is the closest profession to mercy and one of the closest to God"

As soon as the head doctor finished his speech, the Prime Minister jumped out of his seat and headed to the podium.

"Permit me Sir, to kiss your hand.
For twenty years now and I am looking for you. I am the child you mentioned in your story just now.

Oh, my mother will be happy now and she will rest in peace. Her only wish was for me to find you and to reward you, for that goodness you did for us at the time we were living in poverty."

That poor child who became the Prime Minister of England was:
*"Lloyd George"*

Plant goodness wherever you go, even if it is not on your place. Because it will never get lost wherever you will plant it.

It is even more nice if your goodness lasts longer.

Because no one shall harvest that goodness except the one who has planted it.

Doing goodness to others will always purify your heart, and it will fight any kind of evil which comes your way.

The owner of goodness does not fall, if he falls he will fall on a pillow to comfort and support him.

May God Make us among the people who always do good to others.

"YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING...."

History Being Repeated?

In 1983 :

$1 = N 1
£1 = N2 ;

Volkswagen Beetle = N1,400 ;

Food was in abundance ;

Kids were in schools;

Businesses were booming with vibrant economy and people were gainfully employed ;

No illegal arrests or media trials ;

Rule of law was maintained, etc.
|
|
|

But, on 31 December 1983, he and his group struck, under the pretence of willing to tackle "perceived"
widespread corruption", and, within few months :
$1 = N15
£1 = N40 ;

Volkswagen Beetle car = N8, 000 ;

Kids dropped out of school because their parents couldn't afford their school fees anymore ;

Businesses closed down and relocated to other countries ;

Foods were rationed as people queued up for essential commodities ;

Many Nigerians lost their jobs because the economy collapsed ;

Innocent Nigerians were arrested for free speech and human rights violated with impunity under "Decree 4" ;

The Constitution was suspended, etc.

He blamed Shehu Shagari's administration for the mess.

He blamed corruption, yet he jailed Dr. Alex
Ekwueme (the then Vice President) but left Shehu
Shagari (the President) in his palace.
|
|
|
But when another group threw him out in 1985, within few months, Nigerians started smiling again. Our kids returned to school,
food was in abundance again, Nigerians got their jobs back and the economy was revived etc.

|
|
|

In 2015:
$1 = N175-190
£1 = N289-320 ;

Cars were affordable, with local
manufacturers smiling to the bank ;

Food was in abundance (at least a bag of rice was N7, 000, etc,) ;

Kids were in school ;

Businesses were booming with vibrant economy rated #1 in Africa after recapitalization ;

No illegal arrests or media trials ; etc.
|
|
|

On 29 May, 2015, when he was 'Jega-ed' into power :

$1 = N315-510
£1 = N550-610 ;

Local car manufactures shut down their plants due to harsh operating economic conditions ;

Famine was unleashed on Nigerians and a bag of rice rose to N22, 000 ;

Minimum wage remained N18,000 ;

Kids dropped out of schools;

Businesses closed down and relocated ;

Millions lost their jobs ;
Inflation is in double digits, etc.

Just like in 1985, he's blaming corruption and his predecessor for the same mess he and others before him created within few months of assumption of office.

We are now in 2018, eagerly awaiting 2019 :

THE CHOICE IS OURS.

One repeats :

"YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING."

Very instructive!

Pls share till every Nigeria sees it.

"THE WHY AND MEANING OF P.O.O.R."

A great man once said "if you take all the money in the world and distribute them equally among people after a while all the money will go back to their original owners". Why?

The poor are mainly consumers and the rich are mainly investors.

Show me a POOR man and I'll show you a man who

P - Passes
O - Over
O - Opportunities
R - Repeatedly.

A man who sees challenges in every opportunity instead of seeing opportunity in every challenge.

Being a MAN is not a title, it's a responsibility. It means you have to answer financially in the
M - Morning
A - Afternoon and
N - Night.

You must take great risks to receive greater rewards.

You must plan and strategize, you must value profit not wages, you must be focused and you must be determined if you want good success.

Last but not least, You must involve God.

*"The worst people on earth to serve are the POOR PEOPLE"*

POOR: *meaning* "Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly"

*See the reasons below:*

1)Give them for free, they will think it is a trap.

2)Tell them it's a small investment, they will say you can't earn much.

3)Tell them to come in BIG, they will say "I don't have any money".

4)Tell them to try new things, they will say "no experience; has it been proven to work? Who has gained from it before?".

5)Tell them it's a traditional business, they'll say "it's too HARD to do".

6)Tell them it is a new business model, they will say "I don't do network marketing and how many years has this business model been existing?".

7)Tell them to run a shop, they will say "I will be tied down, I'll have no freedom".

8)Tell them to follow a 1-year business plan, they will say "it's too long. Please, I can't wait for so long".

9)Ask them what can they do? They will say "I can do ANYTHING".

10)They like to ask friends who are as hopeless as themselves to get their opinions. Even the Holy Book acknowledges the fact that blind people don't lead blind people.

11) They think more than a University Professor and do less than a blind man.

Penny wise, Pound foolish.

One major challenge POOR people have is "LACK OF ACTION!"

They enjoy their comfort zone, dwelling and swimming in their "own type of knowledge".

Anything beyond their reason "can't work, and therefore it is fraudulent"

Remember: It's RISKY to take a RISK, but it's even RISKIER not to take any risk at all.

*BE POSITIVE*
*BE SMART*
*BE PRO-ACTIVE*

*Learn to try out new things*

*The world is not ruled only by prayer warriors but by mental warriors.*

Thinking is the highest paying job in every field.

Make time to think CREATIVELY & POSITIVELY...
