Report on Educational Excursion to Ogun State House of Assembly and Olumo Rock, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Yesterday, students of Perfect Assurance Academy, Ilaro, embarked on an educational excursion to the Ogun State House of Assembly, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, and Olumo Rock. The trip was both informative and enjoyable, providing students with valuable learning experiences outside the classroom.

At the Ogun State House of Assembly, students were introduced to the workings of government, learning about law-making, legislative processes, and civic responsibilities. This exposure broadened their understanding of governance and inspired interest in leadership and public service.

The visit to Olumo Rock offered historical and cultural enrichment. Students explored the rock’s significance in Ogun State’s history, appreciating its role as a refuge for early settlers and a symbol of cultural heritage. The climb also encouraged teamwork, resilience, and appreciation for nature.

Overall, the excursion was a success. It connected classroom knowledge to real-life experiences, boosted students’ curiosity, and enhanced their social and creative skills. The management of Perfect Assurance Academy, Ilaro recently hosted a seminar titled "You and The Law" for its students. The event featured esteemed guest speakers, including

1. Mr. I. Uzu, Divisional Crime Officer 1 of Ilaro Divisional Police Headquarters, Ilaro.
2. Bar. Timothy Olamide Olaniyi, Associate Dispute Resolution from Platinum and Taylor Hill LP, Ikoyi, Lagos
3. Mr. Ajibola, Deputy Superintendent of Correction, Ilaro Correctional Centre.

The seminar provided an inclusive atmosphere, educating students on ways to avoid crimes and protect their freedom.
