The Coordinator of the Bwacha Youth Movement, Hon. Abdulrazaq Mahmud Liman, ably represented by Dr. Umar Abubakar Bibinu, attended the Taraba @35 and Industry Jersey Night organised by the Taraba State Entertainment Industry (TSEI) on Thursday, 27th August, 2026, at Zara's Lounge, Jalingo.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Umar Abubakar Bibinu, on behalf of the Coordinator, expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the Taraba State Entertainment Industry for organising the celebration and for their contributions to the growth and promotion of entertainment in the state.
He encouraged entertainers and other members of the public to take their civic responsibilities seriously by participating actively in the electoral process and exercising their right to vote.
He further stated that if their Principal, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, Esq., CON, is elected Governor of Taraba State, Taraba will experience the best in terms of purposeful leadership, development and inclusive growth.
According to him, the entertainment and creative industry would receive greater attention under Senator Bwacha's administration, with opportunities for entertainers and young people to contribute meaningfully to the state's economic development.
He expressed confidence that the emergence of their Principal as Governor would usher in a new era of steady and sustainable development across Taraba State, adding that the creative sector would be recognised as an important contributor to employment, tourism, culture and economic growth.
The representative also demonstrated his support for the industry by making a donation towards the development and activities of the Taraba State Entertainment Industry.
Responding, the President of the Taraba State Entertainment Industry, Mr. Timothy Emmanuel Uloko, CNA, CCrFA, AKA MC NETWORK, appreciated the Bwacha Youth Movement for honouring the invitation and commended the Coordinator for his support and generous donation to the industry.
The President reiterated the non-partisan position of the Taraba State Entertainment Industry, stressing that the industry belongs to everyone irrespective of political affiliation, religious background or personal political preference.
He stated that while the entertainment industry is not apolitical, it remains non-partisan and respects the constitutional right of every member to choose and vote for their preferred candidate during elections.
Mr. Uloko further emphasised that the industry is open to all political parties and political aspirants. He encouraged politicians and candidates across political divides to engage with entertainers, present their programmes, policies and vision for the state, and seek the support and votes of industry members.
He noted that entertainers are important stakeholders and citizens who deserve to be carried along in governance and development discussions, particularly given the significant role of the entertainment industry in youth empowerment, employment generation, tourism, culture and economic development.
The Taraba @35 and Industry Jersey Night was held in an atmosphere of celebration, unity and entertainment, bringing together entertainers, stakeholders, supporters and invited guests to celebrate Taraba State and showcase the vibrancy of its entertainment industry.
