Here are the 7 reasons that could convince
anyone to take up Architecture as a
profession…
1. An Architect is a sort of an inventor .
Like an inventor who goes about making
and designing new gadgets, you go
around designing new buildings.
Architecture is a very satisfying profession
You’ll get a tremendous sense of delight
after your concepts on paper transform
into real buildings. You’ll know the joy of
creation in this field of Architecture…
2. A course in Architecture is a lot of fun.
Unlike traditional colleges where you must
slog yourself in study halls and libraries,
reading and writing all the time, a course
in Architecture gives you the liberty to use
the right side of your brain, the creative
part. You get a lot of opportunities to
showcase your creativity and ingenuity
while designing structures.
3. Architecture is a very high paying field.
Once you get through the course and pass
out with good grades, you’d be pursued
by large firms looking for fresh talent and
new ideas. And compared to most other
fields, Architects make a lot more money.
4. It is easy to define Architecture but the
word has far deeper meaning than it
implies. While you study Architecture, you
get to study various fields of human
endeavor, including Art, History, Material
Science, Physics, Engineering … anything
and everything that can help improve the
living environment of human beings. It is
the most diverse subject you can find. And
yet, this field attracts the most creative
and romantic minds in the world.
5. The work of an Architect one of the
most challenging and enjoyable
imaginable. Every building is different.
Every project is different. There is
absolutely no monotony in life. The thrill
and the challenge of work is exhilarating
to say the least.
6. If you’re the kind of guy (or gal) who
likes to work with his (or her) hands, then
Architecture is the right profession for
you. In Architecture study course, you get
to work with your hands. Its not just
about reading and writing all the time, but
you must have a hands-on approach on
many assignments. Building scale models,
making surveys, talking to people… its a
very active field.
7. Architecture may sound like a 9 to 5
office job, but its not. Its a lot more than
that. Even as a student of Architecture,
you get to work on real-life problems of
designing functional buildings. If you like
to hit the road every now and then, you’re
in for some luck. In this profession, you
get to travel a lot. You have to put your
feet on the ground, and visit construction
sites.

Somebody once said, hate is too much an
emotion, like a disease, it eats up the heart
till there's none left to love again! Wow,
hate, disease? So eye opening.
Nobody wants to have cancer. But if you
allow hatred which is defined as too much
of emotions then your heart can be eaten
up like a cancer and then you will find
yourself hating everybody that comes your
way - hardened heart.
Everybody needs a heart that's nourished.
We all need a healthy heart. Imagine
yourself with a well nourished heart, myself
with a well nourished heart and every other
person with a well nourished heart too, this
world will be a wonderful place of love.
A nourished heart is a heart of love. A
nourished heart is a soft heart. A nourished
heart doesn't have any iota of hatred within
it. A nourished heart is a well fed heart.
Good nourishments just like minerals and
vitamins that children need for strenght,
growth and alertness are also what adult
need for the same strenght, growth and
alertness but with different compositions,
different part in the body (heart) and for
different purpose - to love.
To nourish your dear heart; listen to the
right words, read the right books, keep the
right company, visit the right place, have the
right mentol, have the right intentions with a
positive mind. Verily, verily I say unto you, if
you give your heart all these necessary
nourishments, your heart will be far from
being a victim of breakups.
These vitamins and minerals are to soften a
heart that is willing. A heart that is soft
doesn't break. A heart that's soft doesn't see
negatives. But a hardened heard will easily
break away because of its nature. A hard is a
brick while a soft heart is like a water. Water
will shape into the kind of container you put
it, a brick will brake away if it doesn't have
its way the exact way it wants.
So, we can say a soft heart is
accommodating. A hard heart is dictating.
That is to say if you have a soft heart, you
will accommodate your partner and accept
him/ her the way they are. You will shape
easily into each others' life the way you want
to live it without complaint.
A hard heard is a kwashiorkor heart. A heard
that has suffered good nourishment cannot
be soft but hard, breakable, hardened and
dictating. If you have a hard heart you don't
want to listen to anybody but to always have
your way. You always want to call the shot
wether you are a man or a woman.
Soft hearts don't break, they bend and
shape. Hard hearts don't don't bend or
shape, they break. Have you always been a
victim of heart breaks? Maybe you might just
have to work on heart. Don't defend it, just
admit it, work on it and move forward.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for this
message at the right time. I present my
heart and everyones hearts before you today,
O'Lord please conform it, reform and
transform it in Jesus name. Let us begin to
enjoy all the benefits of good hearts as from
now on.
AMEN.

For all the scientists out there and for all
the students who have a hard time
convincing these people regarding the
truth of the Bible...here's something that
shows God's awesome creation and shows
that He is still in control. Did you know that
the space program is busy proving that
what has been called "myth" in the Bible is
true?
Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis
Engine Company in Baltimore, Maryland
and a consultant in the space Program
relates the following development. "I think
one of the most amazing things that God
has for us today happened recently to our
astronauts and space scientists at
Greenbelt, Maryland.
They were checking the position of the sun,
moon, and planets out in space where they
would be 100 years and 1000 years from
now. We have to know this so we won't
send a satellite, up and have it bump into
something later on in its orbits. We have to
lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the
satellite, and where the planets will be so
the whole thing will not bog down.
They ran the computer measurement back
and forth over the centuries and it came to
a halt. The computer stopped and put up a
red signal, which meant that there was
something wrong either with the
information fed into it or with the results as
compared to the standards.
They called in the service department to
check it out and they said, " What's
wrong ?" Well, they found there is a day
missing in space in elapsed time. They
scratched their heads and tore their hair.
There was no answer.
Finally, a Christian man on the team said,
"You know, one time I was in Sunday
School and they talked about the sun
standing still." While they didn't believe
him, they didn't have an answer either, so
they said, "Show us."
He got a Bible and went back to the book
of Joshua where they found a pretty
ridiculous statement for any one with
"common sense." There they found the
Lord saying to Joshua, "Fear them not, have
delivered them into thy hand; there shall
not a man of them stand before thee."
Joshua was concerned because he was
surrounded by the enemy and if darkness
fell they would overpower them. So Joshua
asked the Lord to make the sun stand still!
That's right- "The sun stood still and the
moon stayed - and hasted not to go down
about a whole day!" (Joshua 10:12-13) The
astronauts and scientists said, "There is the
missing day!"
They checked the computers going back
into the time it was written and found it
was close but not close enough. The
elapsed time that was missing back in
Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes-
not a whole day.
They read the Bible and there it was "about
(approximately) a day." These little words
in the Bible are important, but they were
still in trouble because if you cannot
account for 40 minutes you'll still be in
trouble 1,000 years from now. Forty
minutes had to be found because it can be
multiplied many times over in orbits.
As the Christian employee thought about it,
he remembered somewhere in the Bible
where it said the sun went BACKWARDS .
The scientists told him he was out of his
mind, but they got out the Book and read
these words in 2 Kings that told of the
following story: Hezekiah, on his death
bed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who
told him that he was not going to die.
Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof.
Isaiah said "Do you want the sun to go
ahead 10 degrees?" Hezekiah said "It is
nothing for the sun to go ahead 10
degrees, but let the shadow return
backward 10 degrees."
Isaiah spoke to the Lord and the Lord
brought the shadow ten degrees
BACKWARD! Ten degrees is exactly 40
minutes! Twenty-three hours and 20
minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in
Second Kings make the missing day in the
Universe!" Isn't it amazing?
References: Joshua 10:8 and 12, 13 and 2
Kings 20:9-11. Forward this to as many
people who you believe would think this is
equally as cool. Never be afraid to try
something new. Remember, amateurs built
the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.
