English language simple questions

Our questions today, is a simple questions for everyone to answer.

Q1. ARE YOU MARRIED?

(a) yes, I’ve been married for two years now.

(b) I’m divorced.

(c) I’m engaged – we’re getting married next year.

(d) Nope, but I’m in a relationship.

Nope, I’m single.
“Nope” is an informal way to say “No.”

Q2. WHY ARE YOU STUDYING ENGLISH?

(a) For work.

(b) So I can communicate when I travel.

(c) I love learning new languages.

(d) Because I’d like to immigrate to the U.S.

(e) I’m thinking of studying in England.
The correct way is “thinking of studying” and not “thinking to study.”

Q3. WHERE/HOW DID YOU LEARN ENGLISH?

(a) I took classes for three years.

(b) I did an intensive course.

(c) I’ve been studying on my own.
You can also say “studying by myself.”

(d) I picked it up from movies and songs.
In this context, “picked it up” means “learned it casually.”

(e) My girlfriend taught me.

Happy Friday Wishes: Fridays are always so special. It is special for us since we were kids. It’s a no office day for dad, mom making delicious foods and relatives giving us a visit every now and then. We didn’t have to go to school or college. We could do whatever we want, maybe playing with our friends all day long, or just spending the day with our loved ones.
