Despite progress, there still exist significant knowledge gaps that might point to untapped potential for the evolution education world. A review of research in evolutionary education was conducted to identify gaps in collective pedagogical content knowledge across themes in evolutionary theory. It was found that, compared to the wealth of publications dealing with student thinking, assessment, and ininstructional strategies around the mechanism of natural selection...

It has been shown that the mechanism of natural selection can be successfully taught to children as young as 5 years old through story books and activities while 7-9year old students had predominant teleological explanations of the origins of traits, these could be significantly reduced by a short intervention in classroom settings.

THE ASP Summit is a fully nationalistic project in form and character, 100% non-partisan, non-religious and non-racial with a goal to provoke a response from youths in taking a more solid stance on calling for accountability in Northern Education and holding public office holders to high degree of transparency.
On the road to 2023, and a large students population as ours, what is most important is unity of purpose, redefine our education and set new parameters for choosing our leaders.

It is a time to ensure every students is more knowledgeable about our education and educational system; a time when every student must be carried along; a time when clear and concise knowledge is necessary for us to take ownership of our education process and structure in the Northern Nigeria; a time when education accountability and transparency must be enforced; a time when the students must unite to change the course of our journey as a region and nation and change the narrative, bridging the divide and taking a bottom-up approach to ensuring we achieve a prosperous life for every Northern Students and Nigerian Students. Hence, the “EVOLUTIONARY EDUCATION: A RAPIDLY CHANGING WORLD IN NORTHERN NIGERIA.”
