When and where do you first meet Baba Sada?
..... BABA SADA THE STUDENT'S RECTOR.....
Man of wisdom, discipline, and deep love for students:
Baba Sada, the Students’ Rector
At the heart of the old campus, where dust rose with every football match and laughter echoed through sunlit courtyards, sat an office with faded curtains, a broken ceiling fan, and a man named Baba Sada.
To some he is student Affairs
To some, he was the rector.
To others, a strict old man.
But to the students? The real OGs
He was everything.
Baba Sada, the Students’ Rector.
He had no tolerance for lateness, none for excuses, and zero patience for laziness. His voice could cut through noise like a sharpened machete. Yet strangely, no one feared him — not deep down. Because behind the frown, the thick glasses, and that worn-out agbada, was a heart that beat for his students.
He remembered names and gives name especially to Ladies....
He knew who hadn’t finished registration.
He noticed when someone has not opened the file for a student's registration, or is hiding from a particular lecturer.
"Come here," he’d say, eyes firm but kind. "Tell me what’s really going on."
And when you told him, when you truly opened up — Baba Sada didn’t just listen. He acted.
If your parents couldn’t pay hostel fees on time , he enters the office of the registrar and appeals for more time.
If you failed, he gave you a second chance and a stern warning.
If a good student wanted to drop out, he would walk with you at dusk, hands behind his back, speaking of life, of struggle, of rising again.
"Education is not for passing exams only," he once said. "It is for knowing yourself. And fighting with light, not ignorance."
By the time students graduated, they didn’t just know formulas or facts.
They knew courage, because Baba Sada had planted it in them — one word, one look, one hard truth at a time.
Years later, when people became doctors, engineers, writers, leaders… they would return, grey-haired and humbled, just to touch his feet and whisper,
"Thank you, Baba. You taught us more than any book."
Baba Sada, the Students’ Rector:
He never chased praise.
He built people..... Las las if you file is missing in ACADA or OLD ADMIN..... Just call baba sada, he alone knows cabinet or office to locate it.
