Ubaidulwahab Old Students Hold 2nd Quiz Competition for College Section
The Ubaidulwahab Old Students' Association, Keffi (UBWOSAK) successfully hosted the second batch of its inaugural Quiz Competition for the college section at the school premises. The event commenced on sunday, 9th November, 2025 at around 9:00 am, with students gathered to support their respective gender-based teams — boys versus girls.
The first round witnessed a fierce contest, with the boys dominating the early questions. However, the girls mounted an impressive comeback, ending the round in a 15-15 tie.
The second round, which focused on Arabiyyat subjects, saw the boys narrowly edge the girls by a single point 11-10, securing overall victory across both rounds with boys 26 points and the girls 25points.
One anonymous student showed support by donating ₦15,000, of which ₦10,000 went to the winners and ₦5,000 to the runners-up.
The College's Hausa Teacher in person of Mr. Bashir Isa also pledged a 30 minute session with the association at NBS Radio Station Keffi which was extremely appreciated by the school's Director and the association.
All participants were awarded certificates of participation, a customized 40-leaves exercise book, and a pen.
The association’s President, Abubakar Sadiq Yunus, gave a vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the school management for their cooperation and dedication since the school's inception.
The Vice President, who also served as the MC, added vibrant energy to the event with his comedic flair and lively humour, keeping the audience engaged and entertained throughout. He praised the school director, Dr. Abdulwahab U. Aboki, for his lasting impact on students, noting that the school inspired him to become an education entrepreneur. He now owns a school with full sections and pledged to register his graduating students for the NBAIS exams through his alma mater.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Abdulwahab U. A. appreciated the old students' association for their commitment and prayed for their continued success and unity and hoped for more initiatives from the association.
