🔥NAOOS NATIONAL PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS 🔥

Prudent NAOOSites,

In fulfillment of our promise to epitomize a student centered leadership holding the welfare of our beloved association and students as greatest in our order of priorities, and our move to build a well-informed student community and operate a lucid and transparent administrative communication network keeping all our people abreast of the ongoings, I am thrilled to notify you all that we have taken another step to project Oke-Ogun as a culturally endowed, educationally blessed, and socially great region.

At the early period of last month immediately after our inauguration, I was personally intimated of a programme tagged the Oke-Ogun Beauty Pageant annually organized by Mr. Afolayan one of the illustrious sons of the soil in Oke-Ogun, to create an opportunity for our ladies in Oke-Ogun to showcase their talents socially, culturally and educationally. It is a competition with great prizes to be won by the contestants, in which the overall winner takes the title Miss Oke-Ogun 2024.

I notified the entire members of the NAOOS Central Executive Council, and we had a progressive deliberation o it. We called for nomination through the *NAOOS Council of Local Government Presidents (NCLGP)* to put through a potential female contestant from each of the ten local governments in Oke-Ogun to ensure they are all catered for and duly represented with no iota of sentiment and ten forms were purchased for the contestants.

Shortly after the sponsoring ten candidates on the basis of equality between all local governments, the organizers were impressed, thereby honouring the President personally with ten free slots subjecting the distribution mode to my discretion. In a bid to strike balance and uphold equality, I distributed them all, one for each of our ten local governments constituting Oke-Ogun.

After this, we placed them under the watch of our Social Director, *Comrade Oketoyin Elisha Oluwaseyi,* for proper monitoring and supervision to ensure they are acting accordingly and in compliance with the contest engagement rule.They have all passed through the voting stage and presently looking forward to their audition and grand finale of the contest coming up very soon.

In conclusion, I am hereby assuring you all of our all time loyalty, dedication and selfless services to ensure Oke-Ogun student community arrive the promise land, attain the apogee of greatness as well as our commitment to serving you better, as we are equally soliciting for your overwhelming support and cooperation to move our union to the next developmental level.

HANDING OVER TO THE NEW NATIONAL LEADERSHIP OF THE NAOOS

The outgone leadership of the National Association of Oke-Ogun Students at the National Headquarters has earlier today handed over the union property to the head of the recently sworn-in National Executive President of the association in an occasion held this Tuesday 12th November, 2024, at the NUT Lodge, Challenge Area, Shaki.

The event marked the relinquishment of the tenure of office of the outgone stewardship of the union led by Hon Comrade Oluwaseun Richard Oladeji, the incumbent Chief of Staff of Saki-West Local Gov't, and the commencement of the new leadership tagged "The Era of Sagacity" led by Sen ISHAK, Yusuf Oyetunji (Sagacity). The outgone President earnestly in good faith betaught the union bus to the new president who was taking over its possession who duly accepted it, conceiving leadership advice and guidance from his predecessor.

Subsequently, the new president gave his speech of acceptance of the possession of the bus, promising effective management of it. He sought the cooperation of his cabinets and enjoined them to stick to the core foundational values of their administration with a view to building an all inclusive leadership centered on the welfarism of the entire Oke-Ogun student populace. He made it known that his administration will in no time start working towards realizing most of their set goals and fulfilling their campaign promises, doing all within their respective capacities to lift the union to greater heights of development.

At the verge of rounding off his acceptance speech, he declared officially that his Sagacity-led administration is pitched on the pillar of three golden diadems UNITY, TRANSFORMATION and RENASCENCE, upon which he gave assurance of his commencement saying it is done in the run and has fully taken off.

He called on the Oke-Ogun students that it is time they began to lookout for a new era of pristine leadership with quick actions, good disposition to issues affecting them, as he gave them rapturous welcome embrace to the beginning of The Era of Sagacity.

The leading aspirant for the NAOOS National President doubling as the incumbent Co-director of the Students' Affairs of the Irepo Local Govt People's Democratic Party, Sen ISHAK Yusuf Oyetunji (Sagacity) under the leadership of Hon Abdul-wahab Ameen Olalekan, supervised and ensure equitable distribution of palliatives to over thirty 30 students.

This happened at the Kishi Community Grammar School shortly after the performance of the jumat service, where indigenous students from different campuses in Kishi and other places within and outside Oyo State were led by their representatives to receive their share of the dividends allocated to the student wing by the Hon Alh Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola TT led student inclusive administration.

All the home campuses benefited except the yet to be founded. Their are beneficiaries from the Novelty Polytechnic Kishi, the School of Basic Midwifery, the National Open University (NOUN), Federal College of Education Kontagora - Kishi Satellite campus, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Usman Danfodiyo University, Federal University, Zamfara (FUGUS) and others

The incoming NAOOS National President acknowledging the relentless efforts of the Oyo State Gov't under H.E Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, and his super Deputy H.E Barr. Alh Abdulraheem Adebayo Adeleke Lawal to ensure the students' welfarism, having applauded them, unveil to the beneficiaries the need for their intensification of supports and unwavering loyalty as reciprocity of the government kindness to them so far, which was wholly corroborated by Hon Abdul-wahab Ameen Olalekan.

The students threw countless wads of appreciation to and humbly applauded the Irepo Local Govt Chairman Hon Alh Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola TT for his all time remembrance of and regard for them in respect of benefits in all ramifications. They however, pledged their allegiance to him for according them sense of belonging and keeping them abreast in all developmental course.

Lastly, one of the students while rounding off, praised the incoming NAOOS National President for epitomizing transparency, good leadership with student centered developmental arrangement.
