Nikky Africana Institute of Fashion & Textile Design (NAIFD) was established in 1986 as a Diploma awarding institute born out of the success story of our parent company Nikky Africana Fashion. The institute is the brainchild of our proprietress Mrs Nike Okanlawon who is one of the foremost indigenous fashion designers in Nigeria today with many awards and laurels to her name. Being the pioneer in

the use of African fabrics for classic and modern apparel, Nikky Africana Fashion has enjoyed much success and progress, and thus arose a high demand of people who wanted to be part of our story to learn the trade. We do not only train prospective students in the art of dressmaking, but also various other aspects of Fashion Design from Textile design, Fashion illustration to Bead making and Modelling. We have built a reputation for excellence as attested to by our numerous students, both past and present. With our dedicated lecturers that are contributors to the industry we offer you detailed knowledge of fashion design based on years of experience, advanced skills and techniques.
