_*STUDENT RESULT UPDATE*_

_This is regarding the "student result update" matter. We are all aware of messages circulating from certain agents on various school platforms, claiming that the results are out._

_While there may be some truth to this, I have chosen not to share it with us all on this platform._

_Some students can view their results on the support system portal (https://support.nou.edu.ng/), while others have not yet received theirs, and certain courses are still missing. This indicates an ongoing process of loading results onto that specific portal._

_I recommend waiting until the complete results are posted on the official student portal (nouonline.net). This way, almost all students will have access, in contrast to the support system portal, which not all students can currently access._

_Please let's be aware that the school portal, in general, is still experiencing some glitches. I encourage you all to remain patient as they work on resolving these issues._

_Thank you._

*Important Notice: Portal Congestion*

It has come to our notice that many students want to check their recent semester results, causing too many people to use the portal at once. This is making it hard for most students to log in.

To fix this, we're asking everyone to avoid using the portal for now. Your grades are safe and can be checked whenever you want. By waiting a bit, you help make it easier for everyone to use the portal without problems.

_Thanks for your understanding and patience._

TIPS ON HOW TO ATTEMPT YOUR EXAMINATION QUESTIONS - POP EXAMS STUDENTS (300-800 LEVEL)*

As you prepare for your exams, it's crucial not only to know your course material but also to be well-prepared for the exam room. Here are some key strategies to help you stay focused and reduce stress during your exams:

👌🏽 Read
Before the exam begins, and even during the exam, carefully read the instructions and questions. Take your time to understand what you need to do and what is being asked of you.

👌🏽 Make a Plan
Once the exam starts, the first step is to plan your approach. Decide which questions to answer, allocate time for each, and determine the order in which you'll tackle them. Start with questions you feel most confident about to gain extra time for the others.

👌🏽 Brainstorm Your Answers
For each question, jot down all the information you can recall about the topic. Consider using mind maps to organize your thoughts effectively. However, mind maps might not work well for multiple-choice questions.

👌🏽 When You Get Stuck
If you encounter a challenging question, don't get stressed. Move on, note the time spent, and return to it later. You can try brainstorming, using your own words, giving examples, discussing implications, and summarizing your thoughts to get unstuck.

👌🏽 Check Your Answers
If you have time left at the end, review your work. Check that you've completed all necessary information, write your name, and answered all questions. Don't leave answers blank; make an attempt if possible, this is POP your opinions are honoured, put down words in your own understanding but not out of topic. don't cram for POP pls, or else immediately you see your answer sheet or questions your head will become empty. it's riskier than e-exam..

👌🏽 Checking an Essay Answer
For essay-type answers, reread to ensure they make sense, answer the question comprehensively, and support your claims with examples and reasoning. Also, check for spelling and grammar errors.

👌🏽 Out of Time
If you're running out of time and haven't answered all questions, jot down main ideas and keywords to indicate your intended direction in the essay.

Wishing you the best in your exams, and remember to uphold academic integrity— *avoid any form of malpractices.*
