APPRECIATION
Dear Esteemed Members of FEDVOSA,
I am deeply honoured and sincerely grateful for the confidence you have reposed in me and the entire new Exco by electing us to serve FEDVOSA. I accept this responsibility with humility, a strong sense of duty, and an unwavering commitment to serve our great association.
FEDVOSA has always stood for unity, excellence, and service. During our tenure, we shall work closely with all stakeholders to strengthen the synergy between the National body and our various sets, primarily through active engagement with Set Executives. Together, we will design a clear and inclusive programme of activities for the entire tenure which shall be deliberated upon, refined, and collectively owned by the Expanded Executive Council (various Set Excos).
Transparency and accountability will remain a cornerstone of our administration. We shall institute financial reporting systems aligned with best professional practices, ensuring trust and confidence in the management of our collective resources. In addition, we will create a comprehensive database of all financial members across sets to enhance communication, planning, and participation.
To position FEDVOSA more strategically, we shall deepen our engagement with the Unity Schools Old Students Association of Nigeria (USOSSA) and actively connect our association to this broader alumni platform. With the help of technology, we shall remodel our annual convention to reflect current realities. This in my opinion will be more inclusive, impactful, and far-reaching in its outreach.
Furthermore, efforts will be intensified to mobilize the creation of FEDVOSA chapters in major towns across Nigeria and in the diaspora, thereby strengthening our alumni network and sense of belonging wherever our members reside. Already will have a Gboko Chapter that has started on a strong footing.
I humbly solicit the support, counsel, and active participation of all members and stakeholders as we work collectively towards the upliftment of our alma mater and the welfare of our members. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant, and more relevant FEDVOSA.
