Today’s Opening Ceremony was an inspiring success at Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu, a true convergence of brilliance, leadership, and vision.

Yesterday the 11th of September, we proudly rejoice with our dear Rector, Dr. Njideka Rita Chiekezie, who was honored with the Women of Impact Award by Fontis Aid Foundation, in collaboration with IFATOSS University, Benin Republic.

This prestigious recognition, themed “Leveraging Technology for Career Advancement”, celebrates leaders whose dedication and contributions continue to inspire many. Dr. Chiekezie’s commitment, resilience, and outstanding service have once again been recognized at the highest level.

Career Boost 2025 – A Resounding Success

Yesterday, the Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu Career Service Centre hosted its much-anticipated Career Boost 2025 Training & Fair for Professionals and it was truly inspiring.

The event connected our students with industry leaders, potential employers, and mentors, opening doors to exciting internship and career opportunities. Beyond training, the fair was a vibrant showcase of skills, innovation, and professional growth.

Highlights included:
✅ A representative of Emeka Okoli Enterprises, who wowed participants with innovative food packaging solutions and an array of beautifully packed food products.
✅ A representative from FCMB Bank, enlightening students on financial literacy, banking opportunities, and career pathways in the financial sector.
✅ Welex Gallery and Studio, an inspiring young artist from Mgbakwu, who showcased the role of creativity and artistry in today’s professional world.
✅ Engr. John Nwoye, who shared insights into renewable energy with his solar energy installation company, encouraging students to embrace green technology and entrepreneurship.

With engaging sessions led by our Guest Speaker, Mr. Douglas Akese (Career Coach), and the warm presence of our Rector, Dr. Njideka Rita Chiekezie, as well as the Director of the Career Service Centre, Madam Ekwezia Awele, the event reinforced our belief that Education is Power.
