من لا يُكرِّمُ شيخنا سلمانا
فَكَأنّهُ الإِخْوانُ وَ الشَّيْطَانَا

إنّ العواطفَ والقصائدَ والعلا
قد يعرفون مداه والدّيوانا

لا حبّذا مَن جا يُهين مقامه
بل نِعم من يهدي له الحرمانا

هو في العلوم لمعجمٌ ومصادرٌ
يُحيي القصارى -قومِ-والسّلطانا

وهو الظريف كذا الطريف وقشعمٌ
إنَّـــا وجدنا عنده التـــــبيانا

طابتْ عيون شيخنا ودياره
لا سيّما والله ذا البستانا

يا ربّ لا تترك حياته سرمدا
أنزل عليه رحمةً و جنانا
