Extension of Library Hours for 2025/2026 Harmattan Semester Examinations

The Olusegun Oke Library will commence 24-hour reading services from Monday, January 26, 2026, in support of students’ preparation for the 2025/2026 Harmattan Semester Examinations.

To ensure smooth operation during the extended hours, the following regulations will apply:

Access and General Guidelines
A valid Library Card is required for access.
Food and drinks are prohibited.
Personal electrical devices (power banks, rechargeable fans, extension cords, etc.) are not allowed.
Silence, cleanliness, and orderly conduct must be maintained.
Phone calls are not permitted during reading hours.
Bags are not allowed during this period.
Users must comply with Library staff and porters at all times.

Night Reading Exit Procedure
A bell will ring at 5:45 a.m. to signal the end of night reading.
All users must vacate the Library by 6:00 a.m. promptly.
Students are encouraged to make responsible use of this extended service.

The University Library wishes all students the very best in their examinations.
