SCREENING EXERCISE FOR NCE AND UNDERGRADUATE CANDIDATES FOR THE 2016/2017 ACADEMIC SESSION
ADMISSION! ADMISSION!! ADMISSION!!!

This is to invite candidates who sat for the 2016/2017 UTME examination and scored 180 and above for online screening in preparation for admission into the NCE and degree programmes mounted by the College. Direct Entry candidates are also expected to be screened online. Candidates that did not choose Adeyemi College of Education can also apply.



METHOD OF APPLICATION

HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR REGISTRATION PIN

EITHER

1. Visit any bank nationwide

2. Ask to use the eTtranzact Pay Outlet platform to pay for Adeyemi College ofEducation 2016/2017 Admission Screening Fees and pay the sum of #2,500.00

3. The bank will generate a PIN (Confirmation Order No.) for the processing of the application online.

OR

1. Visit http://aceondo.net

2. Click on “Pay Online”

3. Choose “2016/2017 Admission Screening Fee”, enter your JAMB Reg. No., choose “eTtranzact” and click “Pay Fees”

4. The portal will generate a PIN (Confirmation Order No.) for the processing of the application online.



HOW TO REGISTER ONLINE

1. Visit http://aceondo.net

2. Click on “Apply Online”

3. Enter your PIN/ Confirmation Order No., select payment status as “Paid”.

4. Click “Apply” and fill the form correctly as editing is not allowed once application form is submitted.

5. Correctly enter your O’Level or NCE results as applicable.

6. Upload passport photograph not more than 100kb which must be JPEGor JPG with no eye glasses or veil

7. Upload the digital copies of scanned JAMB result slip, O’Level result(s), NCE result, (for Direct Entry), Birth Certificate, Local Government Area Identification.

8. Enter your personal email correctly as further correspondence shall be through the submitted email address

9. Confirm your entry.

10. Submit your application form.

11. Print your Online Application Form to ascertain that your registration is successful.

12. Wait for the publication of admission list by the College on its website.

FG scraps post UTME Pegs cut-off at 180

The Federal Government Thursday scrapped the conduct of post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for candidates seeking admission into higher institution.
The government explained that all tertiary institutions were at liberty to conduct screening for candidates seeking admission into any school.
Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, said this on Thursday in Abuja after declaring open the 2016 Combined Policy Meeting on Admissions to Universities, Polytechnics and other higher institutions in Nigeria.
Adamu, expressed confidence in the examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), adding that there was no need for other examination to be conducted by universities after JAMB.
He said: “As far as I am concerned the nation has confidence in what JAMB is doing. The universities should not be holding another examination and if the universities have any complain against JAMB let them bring it and then we address it.
“If JAMB is qualified enough to conduct tests and they have conducted test then there will be no need to conduct another test for students to gain admission.”
The Minister also asked the JAMB to stop extra charges on several categories of changes on admissions such as the change of course, change of school and others.
Meanwhile, the JAMB has pegged the cut – off mark for admission for 2016 at 180.
The 180 benchmark, applies to all universities and higher institutions in the country, including polytechnics, colleges of education, and others.
JAMB’s Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, after a long debate with delegates from various institutions, told journalists that no institution would go below the 180 cut-off set by the board.
He said: “180 is given, no institution will go below 180 this year, And some universities can go above it, I know University of Ife will not go below 200 and University of Lagos will not go below 200 and also UI. All these ones stand but 180 as bench mark for others.
“This year we have more than enough candidates, we have over 1.5 million candidates so we will get enough candidates to take in all the schools if they are serious. Re-distribution is already ongoing, because it is embedded in the registration procedure.”

POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR NCE ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2015/2016 ACADEMIC SESSION Adeyemi College of Education (ACE) invites all eligible candidates for a Computer-Based Post UTME Screening Exercise scheduled to hold from Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th September, 2015 at the Management
Information System Unit (MIS) in the College campus.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who chose Adeyemi College of Education (ACE) as:
1. Their Choice Institution for the NCE programme and scored a minimum of 150 marks in the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which was conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
2. Those who did not choose ACE as their choice of Institution but wish to change to the College and scored a minimum of 150 marks in the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which was conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are expected to pay the sum of N5,500.00 for the application form online or any bank using the e-Transact platform pay outlet.

Adeyemi College of Education 2015/16 Post UTME for NCE Aspirants.
Adeyemi post utme for Nce Aspirant who intended to sit for Adeyemi post utme exam before the previous announcement by the school management that, students below 180 jamb cutoff mark wouldn't be allowed to register for the exam talk less of writing.
Good news to enrich you is now reaching you via Sectac that you may soon write your various exam on campus.
This is due to our last interview with the management based on what Mr President said.
So be prepared to write Adeyemi exam if you score less than 180 in your last jamb exam.
But we dont asure you of this, as the management made it sound to our hearings that the outcome will base on their meeting on this issur...

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family.
The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room.
Instead the angels were given a space in the cold
basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the
wall and repaired it.
When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied... "Things aren't always what they seem".
The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife.
After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.
The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel "how could you have let this happen!?
The first man had everything, yet you helped him," she accused. "The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let their cow die."
"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied. "When we stayed in the
basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole of the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it.
Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave her the cow instead. I pray for you today, as you continue doing Good to people, angel of death will never locate you until your destiny is fulfilled.
