As a Mechanical Engineering student, I went to school yesterday to meet my project supervisor for one or two correction to be done before final submission.
When I got to his office, I was told he was in the Freshers’ class taking them and to my greatest surprise, immediately I seek his attention he asked me to step into the class and he did something that amaze me.
He said “ Hello Class meet Janet one of our best student, she has proven herself both academically and politically in the school, a round of applause for her please”.
I was thrilled when they started clapping and I felt so special, I addressed them a little and he told them to reach out to me in case of any admonition.
As I was about leaving the department later on that day, as if those freshers have been watching me, they came trooping and started with numerous question and I was glad I took my time to answer almost all the questions.
It was a great time and I learnt that I should be good anywhere I find myself because I never knew the lecturer always watch me.
